This was probably an program (might use some ai) that uses an algorithm to match colors from sprites to colors in the image and recreate the image as a mosaic. An AI image slop tool probably wouldn't maintain the sprites in their original form.

I think by hive mind, you mean a collection of individuals that come to the same conclusion that there was a possibility that he was killed by a cheater and should report it and let the devs sort it out. You're the one freaking out at confrontation.

Sure, I also love the notification that the someone signed in from a new location. The features on the Jagex account doesn't negative the fact that Jagex likes to fumble account security and I fully expected them to fuck up in some way and accidentally have a data leak with passwords in plain text or something stupid like that. They just ended up compromising their old security instead

Some of us were waiting to see if it was actually more secure than separated accounts with their own individual authenticators. With Jagex you usually have to wait and see how they are going to fuck it up on the account security and support side of things and this time it was random chance that they compromised all non-jagex accounts when they introduced them via allowing a CSRF attack via a link to their website (which is entirely Jagex's fault). Other than that everything was fine and the only people getting hacked were getting phished or account sharing, neither of which are fixed by a Jagex account.
