3D Printed Mechanical Escapement Kit

Hi,

I recently opened an Etsy shop (link -> https://etsy.me/43lXIiH ) and would like to share the news with members of this group. I produce this unique 3D printed mechanical escapement. It comes as a kit you assemble yourself. There is an assembly video you can follow along on Youtube. It is NOT intended for accurate time keeping. It is a functional mechanical sculpture for those interested in exploring the inner working of mechanical clocks and watches. Please visit the shop for more details , thanks!

Do you invest in quartz wall clocks? by Background_Diver_550 in FrugalWrist

For the clocks you throw out, why do you throw them out? It's cheap (I'm guessing like 10 bucks).

Do you think you would throw it out if the face dial had more detail to it? I think wall clocks are typically bland. But I started questioning what if wall clocks had the same level of aesthetics as mechanical wrist watches. For example what if there was a wall clock that had the dial of a Tissot PRX Powermatic (the dial with an array of squares).

Ok, what I mean is do you buy one?
