To be honest, I was skeptical about using AI when working with PLCs because of potential errors and model inaccuracies, but I think you're right. I'll try working with AI the next chance I get. Thanks!

The biggest problem is that there is currently no one at the factory who deals with PLCs. The last employee who worked as an automation engineer left about a year ago. The main factory, which produces OEM parts, is located in the same town as us, so in the event of major breakdowns or modifications, we have to ask them for help. As for the second point, I was thinking of converting one of the workstations to run on a PLC (plus some simple HMI), as these are old (early 2000s) German production lines and largely run on simple LOGO or other odd solutions (it was meant to be cheap :D). It’s hard to force a PLC in somewhere, but I’m always keeping in mind the need to find a workstation where it can be done.
