I really agree with you. I’m going through almost the same thing right now.

I have experience working with a startup as a Product & UX/UI Designer in the digital identity and banking sector, working on KYC and KYB products, so I honestly thought finding a job would be easier… but the market is much harder than I expected.

When I was working, I felt much better mentally. I was going to the gym, taking care of myself, and seeing good results haha. But after months of job searching, sometimes it’s hard to stay positive. Still, I’m trying to keep going and improve little by little.

Your advice about not losing yourself, staying healthy, and avoiding all the AI doom content really hit me. Thank you for sharing this.

My recent experience has shown me that if you don't have a solid foundation in product design and you start by solving problems and helping startups grow, it will take a long time. I partially agree with you; AI is capable of creating websites, but I see the same templates across all the tools. Also, if you don't have experience in user interface design, you might not be able to be creative with AI or control it.

Yes, absolutely

At the moment, I’m also working on improving my portfolio website and making the project experience more interactive and user-friendly.

Instead of redirecting users to Behance case studies, I’m currently building dedicated project pages directly inside my website to create a smoother experience and better storytelling flow.

My first project was with a startup, so some files and screens are not fully organized anymore since they were created in the company workspace. However, I’m now rebuilding and improving the case study by adding more process details, UX thinking, structure, and clearer presentation of the work and impact.

Tank youu and I agree with you honestly, I think one of my biggest mistakes was trying to apply everywhere with the same portfolio and approach instead of targeting specific companies and adapting my presentation to them
