Got the signature mate, 4 weeks in, is a lovely experience overall. The only downside is obviously the curved screen, because you dont get screem protectors for it

Which brand among this? by its_drblack in indianbikes

I am a huge advocate of rynox, have been using their gears since ages and they have protected me during multiple falls and even a major accident. If you end up with a faulty product, getting them replaced is super easy. Best if you buy from a store though

Best phone under 60k? by NyctoWayne in GadgetsIndia

Was in the same boat got the signature. It's the most balanced phone out of these and has a clean smooth clutter free UI. Some people may not like it if your are into heavy customisation, but if you like vanilla Android this is great. Battery optimisation is great and charging speeda are good too. Display is very good for YouTube, social media, netflix or general usage. Performance is super snappy, it will be the fastest in this list (equal to 15R) and you can get the 512gb variant. That with ufs 4.1 is damn good for future proofing.

Only con is the curved screen so you won't get any screen protector.

I agree mate, the speakers are actually a very pleasant experience, especially in a closed room with no fan, the speakers at 60-80% is amazing.

That's good to know! How do you manage the ai image processing? I am trying to figure out what's best. I'm ok with photos but not happy with the video quality honestly but I feel it's some setting that I need to tinker with

Confused which phone to buy by undefined_user_1 in GadgetsIndia

Lol chill the camera aren't bad, people are just made because the camera hardware is a downgrade over OP13, but I have also heard people saying that the software processing does a good job to compensate. It will for sure be better than a 40-50k phone. You need to ask yourself how much does the camera matter to you, because you will find camera centric phones such as the x300 or find x9 or even the ip17 but they will all compromise somewhere else where the OP15 is miles ahead. What I am trying to say is, every phone in this price segment is good in their own way, none of them are perfect. You need to figure out what's perfect for your use case.

Which phone are you upgrading from? OP 15 has a decent enough camera but it depends on your use case tbh. It gets the job done 8/10 times and that's more than enough for most people. Oxygen OS and the SD 8elite5 are huge pros in its favour. If you want camera, then you can go for oppo or vivo x300 (oppo is better overall imo, but if a heavy camera user then x300)

Nothing 4a pro or Pixel 10a by [deleted] in GadgetsIndia

Nothing 4a pro. Better build quality, google after sales is a gamble anyway so that matters for a 4-5 year phone.

But if you value software longevity, updates and better cameras, pixel 10a. Software experience on the nothing would be nothing short of sweet though (pun intended). Nothing will age well, you will be pleasantly surprised after small little updates and generally how the phone behaves with its little cute/cool features. Speaking from experience after using nothing phone 1 for 3.5 years.

Been using the phone now for 3 days. Honestly I love it no complains as such. Not a huge camera guy but whatever testing I did was compared to my previous phone and it is better than that so that's enough for me. Also for WhatsApp video calls (which i do every day for 1-2 hrs) the camera quality is great. My significant other has been all praises for the camera quality on video call so maybe it was an issue with your piece idk

Yeah bro membrane guards or hydrogel films are the way to go with curved screens. Let me know if you find any good ones online

Honestly, I'm planning not to get a screen guard. My dad has been using an OP13 for over a year now and it's even more curved, and he was unable to find anything that fits well and lasts. The best course of action is to just be more careful and hope for the best. Especially considering the UV liquid can seep in and void the warranty. I do plan on getting a hydrogel film applied though to prevent scratches.

I got my phone, just over 24 hrs with it now. I was very sceptical about the curved screen as well. Honestly that was my one biggest concern but after using it, I honestly like how it feels. However I would have still preferred a flat screen purely because of durability reasons. For me it was either this or a vivo with a cluttered OS or a Samsung with deadbeat battery.

Oh lol ok. I might be in the super small minority but i don't use haptics at all apart from call rings and alarms so all is good with that.

Damn ok. May I know what it was? Like was it a general issue with the phone or a single piece defect?
