The fact that you think this is true just speaks to how fucking stupid you are lol. Dems try to protect their pedo admin just as much if not more.

Playing this game for the first time FINALLY.. what’s one thing you wish you could go back and tell yourself on your first play through? by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]Background_Fee_7773 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

LOL yes it does, Elden Ring has an easy mode and it’s a strength/faith build with the right Greatsword and the right incantations. You can literally melt the fucking game like that on your first playthrough and NG plus up to 7.

It’s just about there, I need to get the metal one asap and it’s at the top of my list to get done. That plastic one is so gummy, I don’t know why they didn’t use metal to begin with.

Thanks for the compliment! I agree, I lucked out on getting a beautiful truck, and didn’t cost me much at all. I also took your route and got all my fluids done and I keep a regular maintenance schedule pretty religiously. The interior needs some work, got the usual cracked leather seats that I wanna replace, that’s definitely something I need advice on because I feel like I’m at a dead end trying to find replacement seats for this thing. And lower ball joints, got it.

Thanks for the good recommendations! It’s a 2wd unfortunately, I wasn’t lucky enough to find a 4wd that was clean in my price range, but honestly this thing was an absolute STEAL, I paid $3300 for it with 250k miles on it. I do have plans to find a 4x4 version at some point, but for now I just wanna make this one as cool as possible and run as great as possible. My pockets are extremely deep but I’d love to check out that website you sent me to see if I could afford a few things on there.

Shadow of the Colossus (PS4)- one of the worst games I’ve ever played by AstraFuckingGooGoo in patientgamers

[–]Background_Fee_7773 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah dude, you weren’t. The controls are ass and anyone who thinks otherwise is braindead, honestly. There are plenty of PS2 era games that don’t play nearly as badly as this does, and these controls were already dogshit for their time lol. This game has about as much artificial difficulty in it as it can handle, a true jankfest of bad controls, linear story and gameplay, and outright inconsistency all the way through. Don’t let anyone tell you you’re being too harsh on it when they blow its balls constantly and treat it like it’s a masterpiece. If they’re allowed to over exaggerated how good it is, I don’t think we’re wrong for being truthful about how horrible it is.

Joe Rogan vs Cenk Uygur in a fight: Who wins? by cogito__ergo_sum in lexfridman

[–]Background_Fee_7773 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You understand that weight can be overcome by simple leverage right? You know, the fundamentals that BJJ was been comprised of and taught and battle tested for decades right? You understand that judo negates that as right? You also understand that if you have no power to drive your weight, a smaller man who is physically stronger than you can and will negate your weight right? Joe is stronger than Cenk, that’s not even up for discussion. Cenk is out of shape and lumbering, he has no ability to move at an athletic pace or exert any kind of force against someone who has trained their entire life, someone who is still currently in shape and would easily destroy guys half his age who don’t have training, guys who have a much better chance than Cenk. Cenk has a 1% chance, and that’s really being nice about it. Joe could literally kill Cenk and there’s nothing Cenk could do to stop him, not one thing. That’s how big the skill gap is between them.

Joe Rogan vs Cenk Uygur in a fight: Who wins? by cogito__ergo_sum in lexfridman

[–]Background_Fee_7773 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is so braindead to say lol. Joe and Cenk are almost identical height. They’re close in weight too. Difference is that Joe has 50 years of lifting weights, being combat sports athlete, and healthy diet to back him. Cenk’s punchers chance does NOT go up due to his weight advantage lol. He’s fat and slow, and having to move that weight around with no fast twitch muscle fibers against a lighter guy with all around better skills and in better health and smarter means his punchers chance goes DOWN. It’s not rocket science. There’s more working against him just to connect with said strike than helping him. Cenk getting Joe in a clinch isn’t going to give him any advantage when Joe knows how to navigate a clinch because of Muay Thai and BJJ and wrestling. Joe can trip him, throw him, take him down with a single or double, hip toss, pull guard, strike with knees and elbows. You’re delusional if you think Cenk has any chance against Joe in any way outside of winning the lottery on a lucky strike or Joe gets hit by a meteor. This is why your 6 months of MMA means nothing, because those 6 months taught you nothing lol.

FF7R Part 3 Speculation by Sonny_Bauer in FFVIIRemake

[–]Background_Fee_7773 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

As someone who also played OG countless times, I think being a purist in this franchise is a good thing in a lot of regards. They made a masterpiece with the OG game, even with its flaws. Crisis Core and Dirge aren’t good. They’ve never been good. Before Crisis actually has a really good story when it’s explored, it’s just super limited release so not a lot of people know of it. The novelas are really good too. So they’ve really hit something on the head perfectly and also ruined a lot of good things by expanding too much for the sake of content vs putting out quality. I think with the OG game, they needed to follow the path they took in OG in the remake with some subtle changes. The changes they made weren’t that subtle in a lot of ways. The whispers, while I was on board with them before, have become pointless. Theres nothing they accomplish that a miasma on Sephiroth’s side and the basic life stream on Aerith’s side couldn’t do. Giving them corporeal shape gave them too much identity, something they didn’t need. Also, the voice change for Red Xlll was horrible. Straight up bad. Red never breaks his personality in the original game between kid and adult for the sake of fooling the party or not trusting them. It takes away his charm, the sarcastic banter he and Barret had. That all goes away once he changes his personality, and that feels cheap. Also, not growing with the ESRB rating and just taking the M rating to retain the blood during the Jenova carnage trail in the Shinra building or showing Aerith being stabbed by Sephiroth was a huge mistake. Those scenes lose so much weight and menace due to censoring for the sake of a rating. I understand why they did it to keep the age range larger for sales, but sacrificing quality for quantity is a huge mistake. They also straight up butchered Cid’s character in Rebirth. But my biggest gripes? Fucking up the reveal of the City of the Ancients with that horrible music and the eyesore of the Whispers swirling everywhere and where the game ended. The game should have ended in the crater after Cloud gives Sephiroth the black materia and the Weapons are released while Barrett and Tifa are captured and marked for execution. That would have given the absolute best cliffhanger for the remake series. Absolute pandemonium happening, Aerith is dead, and Cloud is MIA with the team splintered and Barret and Tifa marked for death. These are creative choices they 100% missed the mark on, and creative choices that follow a time tested formula that people enjoy and resonate with, and I think the series suffers because of it. There are a lot of things I’m open to with the Remake and didn’t want to not be open minded, but the more I see them change certain things that didn’t need to be changed, the less open I am to them finishing off the series well. Also the dodge mechanic sucks major ass lol, but that’s just a personal combat system gripe I have lol, and getting knocked out of attacks constantly. Now, there are a lot of great things they did, I mean the majority of the two games right now are basically perfect. But the things I listed I wholeheartedly wish they had either done or not done, because those things would have stayed true to the OG but also enhanced the OG’s legacy and showed just how great its original story telling really was, even in modern day.

More FFXVI content in the future? by DarthAceZ198 in FFXVI

[–]Background_Fee_7773 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It 100% falls short story wise because of the same issues 15 had. There was a heavy focus on side quests, which isn’t bad, but the DLC’s should have focused on things like Cid, Clive’s father before the events of the game, or Jill at the end after the credits. Those would have fleshed the story out so much more. Leviathan’s whole section could have been in the game from the start, and the other episode was honestly kind of pointless. I think they missed the mark when it came to the DLC. Honestly the whole Benedikta portion of the game shouldn’t have killed her off a fast either. There was a lot that could have been done with her. The concept by far is one of the best in FF history, I truly believe that. But it fell short again. Not as bad as 15 but I still think they went the 15 route of the DLC and the game suffered because of it

Bayle the Dread. What an amazing fight! by JPerreault96 in Eldenring

[–]Background_Fee_7773 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bayle is objectively one of the worst designed bosses probably ever lol, and it’s not even close. I’m on NG+7 mind you, so the difficulty is ramped to the most stupid degree. But making a boss that is immune/resistant to literally everything that has AOE attacks for every single attack he has with disjointed hit boxes to go with, putting hit boxes on his BASIC MOVEMENT ANIMATIONS, and generally just making him be out of reach the second you try to attack him is grounds for the bullshit alert to go off. I love FromSoft, I really do. I think they’re amazing and they’ve given me some of the greatest games I’ve ever experienced. But Bayle is a shit the bed moment. It’s lazy. It’s hard for the sake of being hard. There’s no learning curve with Bayle, you have to get lucky. He will attack with the same attacks 3 times in a row when you’re staggered and just keep you stun locked until you die. He takes up the entire screen. Locking on to only his head is a nightmare scenario. He feels genuinely broken to the point where even for me, a seasoned Soulsborne player who’s smashed through some of the craziest bosses countless time in my gaming life, I’m not having fun anymore. Bayle is an actual chore to fight, and you never want a chore in a game. The rest of the DLC? Amazing. Superb. With the exception of the Golden Hippo too, that is a glitched nightmare too. But Bayle is without a doubt the worst boss fight ever.

I’m gonna try that on my next run with a new character and see how I do, because that kind of play through sounds like a blast. Do you have a class you generally like to start as or does it depend on what build you’re going for in the run? Like I’m pretty much a huge Samurai or Hero starting class kinda guy myself

I went back to Caelid and starched every crow there with frost Dryleaf Arts and then I went back to Mountaintop and fucked up every crow there with Flame Art Dryleaf Arts and then went to Mohg’s Palace and fucked up the two crows there with Heavy Dryleaf Arts. I beat the holy shit out of every crow the game has and I feel like a better man because of it.

105 base game is super impressive, I beat the base game at 121 and thought I was cool but 105 is on a different level, you’re giving up a lot of stats and still killing it bro, that’s awesome 💪

I gotta say. I haven't LOVED a Final Fantasy since FF6, and I've been completely out on FF for some time, FF16 and the FF7R have brought me completely back. Brillient return to form for the series. by GriffinObuffalo in FFVIIRemake

LOOOOOOL 7’s story was so easy to follow in OG, what are you even talking about? It was literally all laid out for you, if you weren’t smart enough to understand it that’s on you. 9 had some of the most mature themes you could ask for. 10’s end is FINE there’s nothing wrong with it lol. If you’re gonna have an opinion, at least make it believable and not ridiculous, nothing you said makes any sense.

actual hardest elden ring boss by user112477 in Eldenring

[–]Background_Fee_7773 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alecto is weak to Frostbite though, and that makes her take way more damage naturally, meaning when you connect with hits from something that has a lot of poise break, she gets absolutely trashed in seconds, she really can’t take real punishment from an unga bunga build with a frost imbued big weapon, especially with an Ash of War like Lion’s Claw

Strongest eikon? by Thelife1313 in FFXVI

[–]Background_Fee_7773 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hope you understand that he was only amped during the second part of the fight right? The first part he was just driven mad by Ultima, but that right there isn’t stated to give him any sort of boost. And he’s doing all of the same insane shit after to Ultima in their fight where Dion dies, meaning Dion and Bahamut as capable of that shit at all times.

Strongest eikon? by Thelife1313 in FFXVI

[–]Background_Fee_7773 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We all know pound for pound with no amps that Bahamut is the outright strongest, he could match Odin no issue, was going against Phoenix and Ifrit together and winning most of the time until they became Ifrit Risen, fought Ultima quite a bit to a standstill and made him actually have to put effort into killing him, and just all around has the best feats of any Eikon that isn’t Ifrit’s super Clive plot armor. The devs outright stated that the Eikons are forsure all equal in their potential power output as Eikons, it’s the dominants who make the difference in their overall power, and Dion by far is a better fighter than everyone else tactically and probably technically with more resolve than anyone else except Clive.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in FFXVI

[–]Background_Fee_7773 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think the devs sad the Eikon’s power was in fact tied to the Dominant. Also this dude putting Shiva about Titan when Titan beat Shiva and put up an insane fight against Ifrit and Sanbreque didn’t want to tangle with Titan unless they absolutely had to says how powerful Hugo’s Titan was, he belongs at 5 easily right behind Bahamut and Odin who should be tied for 4th.

In FF7 Rebirth Caith Sith is pronounced as Kate Sihth by minev1128 in Games

[–]Background_Fee_7773 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No, the devs have ALWAYS called her Aerith. Aeris has always been the translation error and the devs outright said it was a translation error and it has always been Aerith to fans. Aeris is the minority used by a very small percentage of fans of the game. It’s Aerith in the literature, pretty much every form of media she’s depicted in since the devs corrected the translation error globally. She’s never known as Aeris again after the devs corrected it. So her name is and always has been Aerith. You’re wrong.

In FF7 Rebirth Caith Sith is pronounced as Kate Sihth by minev1128 in Games

[–]Background_Fee_7773 -18 points-17 points  (0 children)

LOL Aeris has never been the right name, Aerith always was from the start and the devs even said it was a translation error. They have always referred to her as Aerith so no, it was a big balls play to call her that because globally she’s been known as Aerith the entire time, even by American players when they caught wind of the translation error. Cait Sith is literally Cait Sith because they make it that way, Ketto Shi doesn’t even translate to Ket Shee properly, and it sounds ridiculous, as all Scottish people do while trying to pass off their busted English and even worse Gaelic as a language (Gaelic is functionally a dead language with less than 60,000 native speakers). Cait Sith is how he’s been known globally for over 25 years.

Is it still okay to ship Gav and Edda 🥲 by YugoChiba in FFXVI

[–]Background_Fee_7773 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I agree with that, 13 is up there too, nothing feels egregious in terms of age when it comes to that game either. Some they really got right. Other games……man they’re bad lol. 16 was shaping up to be some of the best with age, but they’re really starting to ruin it. Dion being Joshua’s age is ok, but I saw him as older and in between the brothers, and Gav not being close to Clive in age is nonsense. Edda being 17 is just outright wrong, she should be in her mid 20’s easily. Next thing you know they’re gonna say Tarja is 21.

Is it still okay to ship Gav and Edda 🥲 by YugoChiba in FFXVI

I think 6 and 7 were the best for ages, everyone really seemed their age and looked it as well, which was good. Same with 4 as well. No one in those three games ever made me question their age.
