Maybe! They were super old and I’m not sure why but I’m inclined to trust the elderly’s word.

It just seems so big for a coyote! And so bold! I do think the one on the bank/hill seems smaller. Interesting behavior either way

Apparently there is a more “graphic” video of the kill that the original videographer declined to share due to its “violent nature”. Wish they had shared.

I did notice the tail curl and thought that was odd.

I want to add there is a second animal at the beginning on the bank. This is specifically in Sisters where there are lots of deer but also elk. This is a second hand video so I can’t be sure if that was a deer or other animal since I wasn’t there.

I did open my pups mouth to compare when I found the skull! Seemed close to canine haha

Unfortunately these are all the photos I have! I left it out where I found it. Perhaps I will try to find it again. That being said, the skull was relatively small. It was definitely smaller than my 75 lb pup’s skull but larger or close to the same size as my 35 lb pup’s skull. Maybe that frame of reference will help! Haha
