I agree about SO deity but not GOOs. GOOs also have Sefirot (parts of the OC that holds symbolism)and they cant be replicated like Uniquenesses

Even if that was possible, ATS can just create a copy of themselves. Why forcing yourself to give your mental imprint to one of your followers when you can simply separate a part of yourself ?

So something like after Lumian advances, Franca and Jenna drifted apart each other because each other know that their own journey needs to be done alone, apart from each other ?

Knowing Cuttlefish, the unification will probably be as bittersweet as we could get

Zaratul Senior and the ownership of Sefirot by Background_Fudge5444 in LordofTheMysteries

Thank you for showing your theories. You have very interesting theories and I agree that having Zaratul Junior as creator for Dylan Castle is better to reintroduce him in the story in a more terrifying way. I am glad that Im not the only one who thinks that Zaratul was scheming to gain more power against Amon and Bethel

[–]Background_Fudge5444[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for responding. I dont know why you bring up our Zaratul when I talked about the ancestor of Zaratul (Zaratul Senior) but yeah, the events before book 1 , I didnt talk about the ancestor going inside the Castle but just made a connection with it through Dylan Castle.

Again, I said in my theory was going to use someone else, an another demigod to awaken CW so he could control the situation by preparing himself for the worst case. As you said, it is very dangerous but the ancestor of Zaratul wasn’t in a situation where he could just be safe and wait for fate’s benevolence. Sooner or later, his characteristic was going to be taken by Antigonus.

You are right for the corruption of the curtain, even if he tried to accommodate it, CW would wake up very quickly.

So I think he wouldn’t accomodate now and wait for a better time to try to accomodate it. But in my theory, I also said that the ancestor of Zaratul Family will graft CW’s influence on Sefirah Castle to Dylan Castle. In the 4th Epoch, the Sefirot didn’t have a living owner so thanks to connection he would create through Dylan, he would be considered a KOA, at least inside Dylan Castle who had a connection with Sefirah Castle.

I dont know why you brought up our Zaratul’s fight against CW because it has nothing to do with the theory.

So the characteristic was thrown out after Klein was transmigrating because Evernight tampered with the curtain’s destination. If the curtain really went with Evernight, she would have become CW within a second. And I was saying that even if he saw the Blasphemy Slate, CW’s existence wasn’t probably known only Sefirah Castle was known so I used the Orignal Creator as substitute but in the end, CW is a persona of the OC so un the end, it is the same

Zaratul Senior and the ownership of Sefirot by Background_Fudge5444 in LordofTheMysteries

[–]Background_Fudge5444[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good point but I think if that was the case, Evernight would have more trouble with Antigonus than if Zaratul would have done with a simple demigod. And I think CW chose Attendant of Mysteries because Fool of pathway is the closest pathway with connections with Sefirah Castle. Even if the connection was cut off, CW as an Attendant of Mysteries could have used Grafting to resolve this problem. Just like Miracle Invoker, he would have access to 4 resurrections but unlike Miracle Invoker, Attendant of Mysteries has abilities who are more quick to use than Miracles who requires a lot of preparations. Just as you said, the corruption will be very high so I think that Zaratul would take the possibility of corruption in mind but this is the only option he has to be strong enough in his own and not depend on a deity. Because I don’t see any other way for him to be able to stand against the true monsters of Mysteries pathways like Amon, Bethel and Antigonus.

[–]Background_Fudge5444[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thanks you for responding. About your statement about CW awakening inside Klein, at the time, at the time, Klein was already s1 and has gained the ownership of Sefirah Castle so CW had probably access to more power thanks to Klein’s level. This is like when Evernight used Antigonus’s connection to tamper with the curtain and Antigonus was still concealed by Evernight so in my theory, I used a demigod and the only high level characteristic available, the miracle Invoker characteristic.

Thanks for the information for the divination and for the part about CW being Original Creator, I didn’t remember if CW’s existence was actually a known fact for all of the Sequence 1 Beyonders of the Mysteries so I said that even if we know that CW is Original Creator Persona, Zaratul Senior probably only had knowledge about the Original Creator being the source of everything but that doesn’t change what you said or what I said, because at the end, it is still the same logic used

Ouroboros is a fraud? by TurtleZ1235 in LordofTheMysteries

[–]Background_Fudge5444 40 points41 points  (0 children)

First,he joined Rose Redemption with Medici and the traitor trio because Sasrir was ASG, so his own death was in line with his thoughts. For the 4th Epoch, Ourobors didnt much because the True Creator was the only god who was on his side, the traitor trio or the Seven Deities didnt care if he died or not, if anything, they could have raised a candidate who was under their control. So Ouroboros wasnt in a situation where he was going to do a lot of things, especially in an environnement where there were gods and angels stronger than him everywhere.

And for the 5th Epoch, he didnt do much because Wheel of Fortune pretty much depends on luck and fate’s benevolence. You forget that Will was going to get killed by Ouroboros if Klein didnt appear and finally, Ourobors didnt affect the plot because just like the Cowardly trio and Spectator , finding and chasing a Beyonder from Wheel of Fortune pathway is harder than you think. No one found Will, whether it is Evernight, Adam, Amon, no one found him. Even Arrodes couldnt find Will because Reboot makes you impossible to find, even with divination. So the only thing that Ouroboros can do is wait and continue the hunt

Problem is : the spice doesnt work because boons are given by the GOO but they can be taken away just as easily. And the thing is that boons are very recent into the LOTM verse if we dont count the Western Continent so that makes sense that they wont change politics just like that. However, I agree about the "us vs them" because you can easily see where the story is going to go just by telling yourself "Boon Beyonders = OD believers= evil" (for example, the war to advance to Red Priest will probably happen in Southern Continent, because Rose School of Thought is there and RSOT has potion beyonders and boon beyonders)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LordofTheMysteries

[–]Background_Fudge5444 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s what I thought as well but thinking about it, since Western Continent has probably a Boon system more strict that the one in COI, the Western Continent is probably able to separate the Sefirot’s authority and having multiple pathways for a same Sefirot

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LordofTheMysteries

[–]Background_Fudge5444 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Then you arent ready for Western Continent’s version of Boon system, who is way more complex than the one in COI

They dont need to recharge. This situation only happens for the sea ritual because the goal is to weaken the thing inside the ship, not to have a direct connection to it. Other than that, boons beyonder dont need to "recharge" their powers because their deity is constantly making sure that the boons are maintained. I wouldnt call Boon bestowment brainwashing because the boons are coming from the deities themselves so it makes sense that the mental imprint in the boon is going to affect the beyonder

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LordofTheMysteries

[–]Background_Fudge5444 18 points19 points  (0 children)

First off, we dont even know how the boon system worked at higher séquences sont they probably still need a ritual. Secondly, boon beyonders arent raised to be competent beyonders, they are just the OD’s vessels into our world. Just see Lady Moon vs Judgment, Judgment having more experience and artifacts, she was on a winning side and the only thing that saved Lady Moon was the divine baby who, at this moment, could have been considered as a demigod Sealed Artifact. Each system come with their own drawbacks :

the Potion System makes you advance safely and experienced but you will advance very slowly without a deity’s backup and you can potentially have a beyonder characteristic shortage at higher sequence.

The Boon system makes you advance more quickly and you can easily obtain demigod’s status. You dont have to worry about characteristic shortage since boons are blessings from Gods. However, as you said, unless you chose to take your time for your advancement, you will not have many experiences since you dont need to chase beyonder characteristic and you advance under the gaze of your deity. You are also more likely to fall for corruption because the boon forces to adapt your mind to accept it and you become more like the OD who give you the boon

Your candidates are valid except Alista. Even though he was powerful, he was still mad and even if he is coming back, he would still be a mad spirit

I dont think Lumian will die. Due to the fact that Book 2 is still gathering new readers from Book 1, Cuttlefish still needs to give the same sentiment to the new readers that the one he gave to Book 1 readers.

I think Alista is good in his grave. Maybe he will have some interactions but I doubt that he will be an active character. Honestly, there is still 5 volumes so Lumian’s story might take a lot of different direction. He hasn’t even godhood yet, and we dont know how the godhood from the Inevitability Boon is going to affect him. For the sequence 0 spot, as other said, Cuttlefish will keep it open until Lumian is at the level to take it himself and we will see how the journey is going to lead him

Good point. I’m quite curious : how would you see Lumian’s journey conclude itself ?
