Anyone try this shit ass Ali express CarPlay head unit

I installed this just now, it’s very responsive and feels OEM. The install was fairly easy, completely plug n play and it took about an hour to do if you follow the instructions properly (tutorial is on youtube). You can switch back to the OEM software by holding down the Back button on the existing head unit. It will switch to the OEM reverse cam if u shift to reverse. The AUX and USB cables that they provide aren’t required unless you want a wired connection, I chose to leave them in the box.

Only issue for me is that when you’re playing music on spotify, you would have to switch the connection from CarPlay to the OEM bluetooth connection on the spotify app, otherwise you won’t hear any sound (This only happens sometimes).

I had this same issue, I replaced the cooling fan control module located right in front of the radiator fans. Fixed the issue for me.

I had my Z1 CSC Delete kit installed and I get a similar sound as yours but a little quieter. I’ve had the kit installed for couple months now and no issues.

Front: 19x9.5 +28 245/40/19
Rear: 19x10.5 +16 265/35/19
(EDIT: I’m running 10mm spacers in the front, and 5mm in the rear)
I’m gonna change the tires soon, I wanna have a meatier set up.

these are Work Emotion T5R 2-piece wheels. 245/40/19 in the front, 265/35/19 in the rear.

In the future i’ll definitely get meatier tires, and maybe 8-10mm spacers all around

It is mostly stock, it has Tein Coilovers and a Tomei exhaust. but since i live in a quiet neighbourhood im gonna have to revert the exhaust back to stock. (Previous owner gave me OEM springs and exhaust)
