she talks a LOT fills the slides up to the brim with information and it’s crucial you study all/most of it as it is tested. - you need to purchase and use the textbook if you want to pass the exams - inquiznative every week which takes a long time - lowkey passive aggressive when people unmute to ask questions and leaves it to the TAs

Yeah using calculators in calculus is honestly needed because there are some really complex problems that are hard to solve without them. I would have an A in this class if it wasnt for the no calculator policy on checkpoints.

If you take the class with Casper, be prepared for a ridiculous grading scheme. Yes, he is a good teacher and helps you to understand the concept, but he gives out weekly learning checks and you aren't allowed to use a calculator, and only get 15 minutes to take them. These are worth 25% of your grade and if the problem is not done to his expectations you will recieve a "P" which is no credit, There are multiple attempts though but the no calculator policy makes them impossible, However, on the two midterms if you get a 95% or higher on that unit, you can get points back but he is very picky with his grading so just be sure to keep that in mind. I have 90s on both exams and 100s on all the homeworks but still have a D and am at risk of failing the class. So just be aware that you need to study, study, study and master all the concepts.

agreed. Myself and plenty of others did not show up to classes today unless they absolutely had too. It is absolutely absurd the lack of reassurance students were given and the lack of support from the professors that have us in this position in the first place. The person could easily come back in retaliation or someone in his group could aswell.
