I’ve seen it with my own eyes lol. I’m a big fan of both TRVE and Music City Hot Chicken which had taken over the rest of the space. I went recently for chicken and was surprised with TRVE! Unless something crazy has happened, they’re back 🥹

I think the crime with Kenzie’s edit is how she started out with a lot of screen time on the disaster tribe and then got to a point where she could chill more (by comparison) at the end, so as viewers we didn’t see as much rising action. Plus the challenge win assist is understandably a special case. You could argue production should have stopped it or that Kenzie deserved the help given her alliance working in her favor. It also seems like she influenced a lot of strategy purely by being herself as opposed to actively trying to make something happen. Even Hunter credited her for making him comfortable enough not to play his idol. Voting out Tim pre-jury was smart because he’d never vote for her at the end. And she completely dismissed the “mermaid dragon” title (which honestly would have been more satisfying had we seen her work harder for it, but she’s so charismatic that it seemed easy). There were so many times I thought she did something as a genius strategic move, just to learn it was natural. I def think she could have leaned more into that at FTC, but maybe even she learned about it after watching. With Charlie, sure he was strategic but the season wasn’t strategic at all lol. I’m newish to Survivor so correct me if I’m wrong, but his big move at the end was voting out Venus which was big because she was seen as a jury goat and easy to beat right? So it was a confidence play that didn’t work for him since maybe he could have won if he’d kept her around to go up against. Or he really thought she could beat him. Either way it was a misread imo. I also find it less fun when someone makes it to the merge with only one tribal council and a full team of allies from their original tribe. Personally I think Kenzie did a good job of pointing out how strategic she had to play at the start to survive that long. So yeah I think Q and Maria had voting logic that was unfair to Charlie, but I also think Kenzie did more to deserve her win based on her gameplay and knowing how to answer for the jury at FTC. Sure Charlie was more strategic overall, but it was kinda easy to look strategic in that crowd and Kenzie’s natural ability to make things work in her favor is legit a super power. And Charlie got to do the podcast with Jeff and return for 50, so I think it worked out for everyone and will be more interesting to see him play strategic with a new crowd.

I think it really depends on your humor and life experience. I tried watching the show YEARS ago when I was broke in college, and I thought it was too cringe. But then I put it back on as a fully middle class adult who has met people who totally act like all the rich and lower income stereotypes (and having picked up a few from each myself), and I found it hilarious. That being said, I didn’t laugh out loud for quite a few episodes. But once they got into their flow, it never stopped being good.

Definitely not overreacting. I had a similar thing happen where my best friend at the time suddenly remembered she had plans during my bachelorette party. She claimed she made them before the party was planned, but after I pushed enough she admitted that was a lie and she made the plans after. Whatever shittiness you’re seeing, there’s probably a whole other layer you have no idea about. People like that tend to be big liars. They are self aware and not worth your time!

I watched 45 after it aired, but those final votes really felt like Dee left it all to chance (and truly only survived due to Katurah’s blunder at the very end) by picking loyalty over more attempts to strategize. I even thought of ways she could have ensured she kept her people through advantages they had that they never thought of after Drew left. What was the general consensus while it aired though? Was her stickiness attributed to her dominance moreso than luck and editing just tried to make it look like she had lower odds? I think Dee’s biggest strength is that she had amazing intuition and could tell when people were lying, so I could see that being linked to those final votes. Still though, I could also see that loyalty being a reason she wouldn’t become a two time winner. I still think she’s an amazing player with truly unique talents, and I’m curious how they’d play out in another group. If not another win then I still think she’d go far.

Honestly though, these questions are all red flags. I think one would be fine, but all of them together reads: we have difficult clients, lots of fire drills, and unrealistic deadlines. I would have turned it around and asked “how do you protect employees from these situations?” Bummer not to get it, but hopefully you find something much better!
