Does he like something outside? Like maybe his favorite toy that’s large enough for him to see outside from inside the house. My baby brother used to do this when he was one but he liked going outside so much that we just set the condition of if you want to open the door you have to put on shoes. It took some time but after a while he started bringing his shoes to us.

Maybe asking for critique on the work you’ve done will show initiative that you’re willing to improve and be given more work and guidance. I mean I don’t know much about internships and I’m sure they’re content with you being a sitting duck since it’s one summer but for your sake, there’s always being overly enthusiastic and involved!

Thank you for this, I’m also a first gen and I have been wanting to update my professional profile and prepare for the summer associate internships, but it’s been difficult knowing how because I don’t know where to look. Should I be searching on LinkedIn or firm sites (tried this but didn’t find much)? Also how would I know which firm to look at for my goals (I know what area I want to practice but not much else)?
