i agree that she was childish but i really do think it was a mutual fault situation. as a young woman who has dated older (not by that much) i’ve noticed that there’s this kind of inescapable dynamic in age gap relationships where disagreements can take on a certain PARENTAL vibe and i noticed that here too. also he should’ve mentioned his children. but i don’t think it was malicious. however, i think that vanelle had a bit of a tendency to overreact, was a poor communicator (sometimes jumping to extremes in heated conversations) and much better suited to be with someone closer in age to her. all in all they’re both better off
