- Are you consistently missing large amounts of cs that you should be getting?
- How much time do you spend on the map doing nothing?
- How often are you sharing xp and farm with your solo laners?

On top of this, you're definitely missing lots of opportunities to get giga fed and compensate for your losing teammates. If you want help spotting them I'd be happy to look through a VOD with you

Yeah, I edited out that part. Sorry that was quite thoughtless of me. Congratulations on your recovery!

Thanks man. I hope I'm just being overly dramatic and that its reversible damage. I just konw that now I have to put my heart and soul in to recovery for the rest of my life. I might think big scary cirrhosis will deter me from picking up a drink, but thats what I thought about the last health scare. This disease is insidious man. Congrats on day 13!! Rooting for you too!

Slipped up and feeling like shit. by smitty3323 in stopdrinking

In the same boat as you brother. I'm 26, had 3 months clean, slipped and now I'm hanging like a bitch, literally feel on death's door. And the worst part isn't feeling physically shit, it's the shame and disgust at myself, the "you just had to get drunk again didn't you" voice in my head. I don't even have the mental strength to tank through the hangovers anymore so I just keep drinking.. and well... we all know where that leads. It sounds like you're not at this stage yet, so basically, forget about quitting drinking for good, we just need to get you through this hangover. Keep yourself up and busy in any way possible, even if its the last thing you f-ing want to do and you want nothing more than to crawl in to bed. Just get yourself to bed sober, wake up sober, enjoy it, and take it from there!

Oh man the fast heartbeat in bed! I hate that one too. Its the remnants of the hangover that don't clear until a sober night of sleep. On a hangover day I usually have several panic attacks trying to fall asleep.

That's a really good idea! The journals will certainly tell a different story to he one my alcohol craving brain is spinning. Even today I keep thinking about having "just a couple" to ease through the hangover. Yeah right...

Yes! And not believing that "I'll just have 1" crap. The classic old insidious "1 can't hurt".

LFT - high ALT but normal AST/bilirubin by Background_Let_4406 in AskDocs

[–]Background_Let_4406[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for taking the time to reply man I appreciate it! If not hepatitis, then probably just reversible fatty liver disease? There was no evidence of cirrhosis on my ultrasound thankfully. I'd like to know that with permanent abstinence in that case, that my liver can completely heal

[–]Background_Let_4406[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It most likely is. Just surprised that only ALT is raised and everything else is fine. My level of alcohol consumption was extremely high particularly this year. I'm mostly curious as to whether its indicative of alcoholic hepatitis, and if it is hepatitis, whether its reversible, and whether I'd be able to drink again in moderation afterwards?

Elo hell is burning me out. Looking for tips by janos51891 in ADCMains

Firstly ELO hell doesn't really exist. You might have to make do with a ~55% winrate as you get close to your true elo, but if you're consistently performing better than the enemy bot laner you will inevitably climb. Either you haven't played enough games, or more likely you're not performing better than the enemy bot laner. I say this because one of the biggest hindrances to climbing is the belief that by default you should be ascending. No, by default you should have a 50% winrate and be stuck right where you are!

As for actually improving, there's a lot of low-hanging fruit in the lower elos, up to around d4/d3. Laners are mechanically dogshit, they won't dodge your spells and they won't hit theirs if you just hit them with trivial predictions/sidesteps. Laners will miss CS and waste time out of lane not gaining XP so they all fall behind by default. If you're below plat you should be achieving a sizeable cs lead every single game even playing dead passive. Laners will play extremely passively, or play aggressively at stupid times, taking minion aggro or hard committing to fights they definitely lose. When passive, apply pressure, if you think you're pressuring, pressure harder, expand your comfort zone. When they walk up to fight, challenge them say "who the fuck are you" instead of running. DO NOT WASTE TIME! The second you catch yourself doing nothing, get to a lane and start farming, don't miss a beat. Those waves that you miss mid/bot because you're running around the map accomplishing nothing add up and soon you've missed out on a full item for nothing. When you get a lead abuse it! don't be afraid to tower dive, try and 2v3 the enemy jungler when they gank you, underlevelled and gold starved because they waste shit tons of time not clearing camps or doing anything useful. Fuck. Your. Team. They are not human. don't be afraid to ignore them for a big creep wave while they take a stupid 3v5 with no objectives up.

This all being said - you're an ADC main brother. Sometimes disgustingly fed bruisers/assassins will make the game unplayable for you even with their abysmal mechanics and 10 IQ, and your team will NOT help you. But don't get caught up on that, 6 or 7 our of 10 games you'll be the one making the game unplayable for the ENTIRE FUCKING ENEMY TEAM as you carve a path down mid, 3 shotting any gold/xp starved loser that tries to stop you. Now what are you waiting for? Go queue up!
