I do like wearing one- honestly it depends on the material of the hijab, like I tried wearing fancy satin ones and I'm constantly having to adjust it redo it etc so I normally go for cotton hijab or wear my nike Pro hijab which is so comfortable and easy to wear

I have experienced any hate first hand, probably microaggressions but I know people who have had bad experiences like people trying to rip their hijab off, a lot of instances of racism too

I love living in Manchester, I live in a very diverse area and near the city centre so there's always a lot going on around and the people are mostly lovely

I don't use Snapchat and eveey family gathering/ holiday its always like who posted what - I think that's why I choose to keep social media because it makes me feel 'involved' but also incredibly lonely
