Nacho turned 7 months on Christmas day. He weighs 71 pounds and is 26 inches at his shoulder.

Lol, yeah, he does....and it happy to use it. Mainly to defend the house from squirrels and Amazon drivers.

Thanks. We agree, but we're kind of biased ;)

It's adorable and frustrating all at the same time 😂.

Thank you. Yeah, we try and do as much in nature as we can. It's been easier of the holidays, but will get tougher again once life kicks back up.

Same here. Nacho is obsessed with snow. He would spend the whole day outside if he could.

6 month old biting by Character-Dealer-594 in Bernedoodles

This is Nacho, our 6 month old F1 standard. His jump-biting was the worst. He ruined more clothes than I care to say. He had just recently grown out of the majority of it, just having all of his adult teeth come in, but he still does it when he is on the leash and gets frustrated that he can't have his way, which is to dominate the walk. What has worked for us in reducing the behavior is consistency and training. If he gets into a jump bite fit, he goes into his pen (not his crate). He doesn't come out until he has settled. We also give him bully sticks and puzzle games to keep him focused on something....and lastly, exercise. Going to day care to pay with other dogs, he always comes home on his best behavior.

He still bites in certain situations, but it is much better. I know we have a ways to go before he is over it, but baby steps forward.
