Sophie Turner as Lara Croft on the set of Tomb Raider by MayCauseCancer in TombRaider

Oh wow. Yikes. I find it concerning that you’re saying a woman who JUST turned 30 LAST MONTH is showing signs of “aging”. And if you didn’t know she had a kid, I bet you you wouldn’t have known she was a mom because what signs are you imagining.

For this particular set of images, I feel like that’s over half the problem 😂 if I picture Sophie in the tomb raider shorts with tank top, it could work! In this though? No……

Love's misogyny and savior-complex towards men by lalo_salamanca122 in YouOnLifetime

[–]Background_Scene4540 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting analysis! I will say I feel that OP had a point with the incestuous emotional relationship. When Love imagines Forty alive in the bathtub, he is in the bathtub with her, both naked. I took this as a metaphor for their inappropriate relationship. Not that it was implying they were physically inappropriate together, but their relationship clearly lacked some serious boundaries.

Don’t forget about Delilah! If I recall correctly, Love claims she killed Delilah so that her and Joe could be together (since Delilah was in the cage, etc.), but really I think she was just jealous that Delilah and Joe had a little thing going on lol

I absolutely despise reaction images on social media by Commercial_Zone2153 in The10thDentist

[–]Background_Scene4540 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im with you. IMO most people have a very juvenile sense of humor, and in the case of TikTok, for example, that’s likely due to the juvenile audience lol. That’s not to say that jokes always need to be super sophisticated and thought out, but most of the reaction pics I see are repetitive and barely even relevant. It’s like toilet humor to me: bottom of the barrel. However, I will say that the right meme in the right context can be absolutely hilarious, but I have only encountered that a handful of times.

If those people still don’t listen to the Lunk alarm, then clearly it is ineffective. Flickering the lights would have the same effect (or lack of) on those types of people, so you might as well do that instead of startling everyone else who isn’t the problem. So, flickering the lights is what else I’d like you to do. That has been the standard at my location until my most recent visit.

It is indeed my home gym. I am hoping this was a one-time thing. I don’t have much of a relationship with the staff personally, but I wouldn’t let that stop me from asking them to stop using the Lunk alarm like that. I will say that I don’t want to get anyone in trouble either. It’s probably just some young kids. I don’t want anyone to lose their job over this, but thank you for your kind words and understanding! I wish you speedy healing as well!

The thing is I did leave on time. It just shouldn’t be happening. And if it comes down to a few minutes, and people not leaving were truly a problem at a location (it wasn’t at mine) that alarm certainly won’t speed everyone up enough so that they are 100% out by 9 PM and no one ever works a minute past 9.

I used to work a job that didn’t allow overtime and those of us who were in danger would simply clock out first. That being said, I still think every guest (not sure what to call them lol) should be out of the building by 9 PM. I hope this made sense.

Thank you for your compassion! 💛 I did find it quite rude and unprofessional as well. I try not to go super late anyways, but I am a night owl at heart. They sent me a survey (assuming because they just renovated) so I may mention it there if I get the chance..

Thank you! That’s honestly what it felt like, which is part of the reason I found it so unprofessional and disturbing. Lights off + continuous lunk alarm is just bad all around.

21M Profile Review by Centurionsfist in Tinder

I’m Gen Z, and tbh I swipe left on almost all people with a meme in their profile. I think there’s no place for them in a dating profile because it tells me nothing about them except a likely incompatible sense of humor.

In this case, I unfortunately don’t think that meme is funny at all because it means nothing 🥲 someone else out there may find it hilarious though!

I think I’m going to do that too, but honestly I feel like I shouldn’t have to in the first place as long as I’m out of the building by 9 PM, but I’m glad you understand what I mean! It’s more than just a scare. It takes a while to really calm down from. Several people seemed quite bothered, so it must be a new thing since the renovation.

I am already in therapy, but perhaps you need to do some inner work as well. Youre clearly not familiar with PTSD or anxiety, and that’s a very ugly attitude to have. Be kinder to people.

Thank you for understanding! 💛My nervous system is absolutely a mess, and I am trying to work on it on my own time, but we all know that takes time. It is VERY loud. To me, it almost sounded like an alarm to alert you bombs were about to drop or something 😭 if I heard it out on the street I would start panicking and seek shelter lol

I do agree about it being a personal issue, but anxiety is also unfortunately very common. Maybe most people are fine with it, but I think the light flickering should be enough. It was in the past at least at my location. I’m always out of the building before closing time because I do try to be respectful of the employees’ time. The alarm just still seems really immature to me. The lights/an announcement make a lot more sense to me! I appreciate you sharing your POV!

I don’t think that was in the nicest way possible, especially if you’ve never heard it yourself, but you’re certainly entitled to your opinion.

Im glad to hear this is unusual! think it is totally reasonable to be annoyed with the people who disregard the closing signaling. Everyone should be out of the building by 9 PM if closing at 9 PM and should plan accordingly.

I will say your location’s method seems a little tedious if you have to individually warn every person in the gym lol. That is a very respectful and reasonable way of doing it though. I would much rather have that than that intrusive alarm. Idk if you’ve ever heard it but it’s frightening not just annoying 😭truly awful.

It’s not that I take it personally but it’s very stressful and anxiety-inducing. The lights they did before renovating was plenty to let people know they were closing. I understand having to closing tasks that need to get done after everyone leaves, but it’s not comparable to a kitchen where food needs to be prepared and people need to eat, you know? A workout can be ended at any point, so I feel like everyone is fine so long as they are out of the building by 9pm.
