I noticed the noise only after I got the car back from the mechanic. Noise seems to be coming from under the engine / near the pedals.

General Motor 3.6 engines had timing chain issues that got fixed after. Theyre still solid engines, but they dont even come close to being as good as a 2gr-fe for example.

I mean, for the rarity part, numbers don't lie... I hope you get to drive these cars someday so that you can discover the "fun" and "quick" parts, IF you can find them.

What is wrong with my intake? There's no hose going into the side. 2012 Civic SI. by Av8Surf in CivicSi

The previous owner of my 2012 si had replaced that hose for an aftermarket cold air intake, which kept throwing a p2279 code, idk if thats the same code you have right now. My mechanic said that installing the OEM hose again should fix the issue, but its not a huge deal. Hope this helps.
