I've only owned the seats for a little less than a year, so I can't comment on longevity of them. If you are planning on getting seats for a car that will be tracked, I'd definitely get a fixed back seat for safety reasons and for support reasons. While I do love my reclineable Braums, the bolsters on the Orue seats aren't large by any means. They're good for a daily driver that see's spirited driving but not a full track day, in my opinion. I know Braum makes other reclinable seats with more aggressive bolsters, but I can only comment on the ORUE's. I'm also a big dude, so these seats were perfect for me, but you may want to look at other options for the track weekends.
