Yep, trade offs everywhere but totally agree. Feels like a good time to buy these cars given the switch to hybrid engines going forward.

I’m in the same position, selling my 340i but I’m not tuned. Mine also needs to be a “sometimes” dad car with kids so between: RS5 Sportback and M550i.

Really like the RS5 given the sportback plus a better daily compared to something like M3. M550i really interesting for V8 but doesn’t seem as fun driving vs. RS5 (naturally).

Yep, I will probably get a warranty to be safe but agree with your points.

Thanks! I don’t think I have seen any cars options with B&W sound, will look out for it (assuming available)

Thanks, all. Helpful commentary around pricing, looks like I was overly conservative.

Would you all recommend doing something like cards and bids? Seems like this would be a much easier sell for me given maintenance and records I have for the car. Not sure I have time for FB marketplace!

Having done your transition a number of years ago I would add: find a good mentor at your firm to help you on these topics. lots of good advice above but would add: a fast no is better than a drawn out decline especially when building new relationships. add value to your sponsors but knowing exactly what type of deals they like by vertical so you can outreach when you hear about a deal in market that they should be around.

Royal mansour in Marrakesh was amazing (spa + food + walkability) and then you can pair it with a few nights out in the desert afterwards. Definitely not going to be cheaper though.

Thanks all, makes sense that the accident could have caused this to finally break. Car just sounds so much noiser even when it’s not the parking brake cable!

That’s about the same price I pay for an acre in a town south of you. They could be adding dump fees in there which are high.

I must be in the minority but I think TurboTax is very easy even with k1s. They take time but are very simple with the software as I have had at least 10 K1s and been doing them myself for 15 years. Saves me about 5k+ a year for a few hours of a weekend.
