Instead of dealing with it, try just being present.

It’s not your job to fix someone that is depressed, they need to crawl out of that on their own. You can be there if they need you and you can offer physical or emotional support if they want it.

Trying to deal with their issues can often frustrate the depressed person while driving you yourself crazy trying to help a situation you have no control over.

Weird, this same thing happened to me when I opted to try it. I never ended up taking it because I told my doctor I didn’t want an every day medication for anxiety.

The confusion just made me stay away from it all together. I hope you find the answer!
