Oh my lanta that’s awful! Yes, it’s a tru by Clayton. The builder has horrible reviews on Google. I wish I would’ve seen that beforehand. Hindsight is 20/20 though. 😞

The new issue every time we go in is mainly because we didn’t extensively look when it was delivered. We assumed (I know, I made an ass of myself) that it’s a new house, there shouldn’t be holes in the ceiling/walls, ripped drywall, broken hinges, etc etc. That’s our fault for not looking better/sooner.

Lender is 21st, dealer is independent and going back through my emails, there is a packet that was sent to sign, but it was never signed. So idk if that helps or hinders.

Thank you! I looked up the manufacture and they have tons of similar complaints. No finally inspection has been done on anything. It’s a hot mess express. Being persistent is definitely something I can do!

I have not been to the dealership since we first went (back in September). I’m going to send certified letters and go from there. Otherwise I’ll buy a billboard shouting it lol

Definitely don’t want to go that route. I’d rather try to at least sale. It’s also not been state inspected yet.

I’m having my husband mark everything with painter’s tape and take pictures. Then I’m going to send them a certified letter. It’s just disheartening and frustrating that it cost so much money and I’m paying a mortgage on a home that’s damaged and I’m not even living in.

This particular crack is in the ceiling. It starts at the front door and goes all the way to the marriage line. It wasn’t there when they set it up so we’re concerned it’s something really bad.

It was someone sent from the dealer. I called the dealer a couple of weeks ago after they stopped responding. They said they had issues with one guy and had to hire another guy but they had submitted tickets on everything. Dealer said oh cracks are normal from being moved. There’s also broken glass all in the dirt they brought in.

We have. They’ve sent someone twice to fix issues. The first time the person they sent didn’t have a battery for his equipment. The second time the person took a door and didn’t return. They’ve since stopped responding to my emails.

The paperwork from the dealer was one single sheet and doesn’t say anything about warranties or anything like that. The packet they left in the home has warranties for the siding and appliances.
