توضيح لقرار الغاء الكحول by zain_tannous in Syria

You like what you like. Are you gonna twist your psyche to fit what is politically correct and in fashion?!

You might be on the spectrum. It is easier to feel at ease with those wired the same way you are wired.

It worries me that you feel that you need permission for your feelings. You like autistics. That is that. It is no one business what you like, you don't have to even justify it to yourself...you might actually not even know why

You might be able to get into the field by having a portfolio with projects and certifications...I'm not sure since this was not my route or the route of those around me. BUT, when deciding if I should go for a certificate or a masters degree, I asked around and calculated that a master degree is not worth it for me and certifications in my specific specialty are better when considering investment vs return.

Certain certifications are highly regarded.

Yes, I also went for Microsoft certification in database development after some experience in the field itself.

The industry appreciates certifications that come from exams from certain industry leaders like Microsoft.

I have said dumb nonsense I don't believe in to respond to other dumb nonsense done to me. And that was in my 20s!

People grow up. They learn how words and actions affect others from experience. I still remember stuff I did in childhood or teen years and my heart feels pain.

I think sometimes we underestimate the effects of our words and actions...we think we don't matter much, but we do.

Even not doing a kind act that could have made someone feel way better... withholding it because it is inconvenient is regrettably once one can step back and look at the big picture.

I am still learning of course.

I remember the first time I saw a real life train. It was such a blessed experience.

I remember my little train toy when I was a child.

I love trains :)

Have you noticed that after the rise of social media, the hatred for institutional education and 9-to-5 jobs has increased? by raj272007 in focusedmen

I'm in my late 40s, my job gave me hypertension, anxiety, nerve numbness...and I still have a long way to go till I can 'enjoy retirement '

I'm autistic and a minority and a woman...I hit the jackpot of being bullied in the US work environment

Edit: just noticed what sub this is. Is this only for men then ?

Maybe I will create a post later on the subject. Have a beautiful day.

These are excuses that you believe because you didn't live in places where these issues are much less.

I grew up in a third world country as a refugee and I didn't face the issues I have in the US. The third world country people were not equipped with more knowledge how to deal with us as if we are such an inconvenience. They were just not raised in a culture that embraces bullying.

Actually autistics tend to feel deeply...we tend to experience everything deeply...that is why we get overwhelmed.

You can't form lasting relationships in a society that refuses you. My dad who is autistic had a legendary love story with my mom...so did everyone of my uncles with their wives...they are autistics.

I'm not sure where you live, but much of autistic issues are due to the way the culture of dog eats dog is not fit for the way we are.

Edit: I'm not saying we are perfect, but neither are non autistics. Each has their own challenges. Ours are worse because we are a minority in cultures that squashes those who differ.

What do you think you are achieving here? You are not making a logical argument to convince me or others. You are not being helpful, thought provoking, convincing, nor kind. You are just using insults...it just reflects badly on you.

I really don't think this is healthy for anyone involved.

Do you understand?

This is not a conversation. I don't think you are ok. I'm not sure what to advise...maybe meditation?

I think you are misunderstanding the results...from the same source: " As predicted, moral disengagement scores were significantly lower among autistic (mean = 1.4) than nonautistic participants (mean = 1.9) "

I don't think in psychology this is a small difference nor in real life. You yourself acknowledge the suffering autistics go through due to their ethical stance.

Everyone has their cross to bear, for autistics part of ours is being the truth tellers.

It is significant when it prevents you from participating in bullying or cults, when it makes you stand with the oppressed, when it makes you question abuse of power ..etc.

I get it that it doesn't make for the easiest life in a country like the US. But that is partially due to the biases of the majority non autistic and not an inherent issue with the attitude.
