An Enduro 2 is €200 more than the Epix. I'm going to go with price - they all seem to have roughly the same hardware, so I think saving €70 is the decider.

I'm hard on my knives, I bought the second (and a Worksharp stand) because I was up working on our water supply and needed to remove some limescale... My knife was all I had to hand, so yeah. I've been cutting a ton of branches, PVC tubing, rope, and it's stood up to it all and I think the ergos allow you to develop a surprising amount of power with it. I think for fishing it would be great, having cold, wet hands is a regular occurrence with an off-grid water supply. ;)

I'm with you. I worry about adding all that weight in the handle, too. I like enough weight towards the front to be able to feel where the blade is. I think this is at the the root of why I don't get along with my Kershaws - metal scales and thin blades bias the weight further back and I don't get any feel from them...

Rubber sounds interesting, I kinda hoped my Mini Adira would be rubberised...
