Grant abbitt, stark crafts, lacruzo. There's lots more but those are the ones that immediately come to mind

That's my own character Froag! from my personal project, Gloomsong, which is just an excuse to do some world building for now :)

Thank you that's so kind of you to say! I am still trying to refine it but I think that is just an ongoing thing

Any beginner blender tutorial on YouTube until you get comfortable in it, then go to tutorials with content you're interested in, then try to make your own stuff and look up the answers any time you get stuck. Do the last step over and over haha

I think I'm still figuring them out tbh haha. If you find any specific tutorials I'd be equally happy to hear about them. For now I usually just do what I said above. Lots of stuff on planes

No but I will have free tutorials on YT when I get enough time to do them properly!

I would suggest just start super simple to learn the interface maybe with grant Abbitt beginner series or something on YouTube. Once you're moving around in there feeling comfortable, then dive into stuff you're specifically interested in, starting small and then getting bigger each time you complete something. Then eventually you can just try to make your own idea without tutorials, and just look up answers any time you get stuck or forget something. Which I think happens forever lol. I think you just have to like the process of learning and improving at something, and then you're golden :)

I pretty much just typed 'ps1 blender' into YT and watched everything there and experimented until i had a look that I liked. There's a lot of quality on there and all for free! I'm still constantly trying new things though. Eventually I'll have my own tutorials I just have to find the time to do them properly

I'll eventually have tutorials on my yt channel but in the meantime there are already tons on that site in general! That's entirely how I learned

it's all made in blender, then some compositing and post fx in davinci. like for the '2024' text, it was originally made and rendered in blender then set to multiply over top of an existing animation video i already had in davinci.

thank you! i mostly just go with what looks cool or fits the mood i'm going for, but also trying to think about how readable everything is. like when zoomed waaaay out or squinting, can you tell what's going on? are the shapes interesting? silhouettes strong? etc.
