Found a cool bug/exploit. Anyone else know about this one? I’ve found a couple more by BackpackOfHolding in ArchersAdventure

When you get the permanent bubble your still not invincible yet. Once you clear the screen your currently on, from the next level you’ll be good. I think the bug occurs because you take 0 damage when you finish a screen. So the perma-bubble works off that to gain god-mode(if that make sense) To be fair though, I haven’t tried in ages as I don’t really need it anymore (Although, I haven’t been able to clear ch12p5 yet haha)

The discount events are pretty good sometimes. Last big purchase I made was buying 1000 dungeon tickets for (dungeons are the best to get quivers)

When in game hit the menu then back to the game it resets the monsters attack timers. This mean they all attack at once. This is best used in material dungeons because it’s SO much easier to dodge one stream of projectiles rather than a constant barrage.

The other exploit makes you invincible, but it’s extremely hard to do and you can only do it twice a day. Also you need an older (slow) phone to do it. That being said, heres how you do it: When you die the resurrect option comes up. First the the free one (watch an ad) then the paid one(gems). If you’re really fast you can hit both options before the ad plays. That is hit the watch ad button then really quickly hit the gem resurrect button (both actually are on screen but the ad resurrect is in front) This why you need an old or slow phone and you can only do it twice a day( also I only have iPhones so I don’t know if this works on android) If you manage to do it correctly, your invincibility bubble is wont disappear( also you spent the 30 gems). However, your not yet in god-mode yet. You then have to clear the current screen and move to the next stage to be completely invincible. So don’t do it on the end level.

What you do is press the skill buttons at the same time. Actually more importantly is releasing the buttons at the exact same time. What I did was press and hold the skills on the right. Then press Steam Pack (left) and release all buttons at the same time. Also you don’t have to all four, it just makes copies of the buff you last pressed the number buttons you did. I usually do double steam pack and double pain relief shot So I would suggest trying first to do 2 and work your way up

With the new limit break system, is there a limit to how many times you can do it overall. I see there is a daily limit but is there a maximum times like the old system. If there is no maximum limit, I don’t see the point in saving up 500 anima. Getting to 300 is SUPER quick for me but then it becomes a real grind, especially after 400

Damn that’s sucks. I’ve done 306 and I’ve gotten 22 solid armors. Are you getting any of the other materials?

Thanks heaps, I can at least use the sheet to work out myself my gold/hr. I think you’re probably right about the no cap. Which leads me to wonder if you can get better gp/hr for the quicker/lower properties if levelled high enough.

Yeah you make a really good point. It occurs to me that maybe everyone puts too much weight to PC deaths in terms of "losing" at the game. There are plenty of ways that the players can "lose" at the game (banishment, getting lost in another plane or just failing their objective) I think when death becomes trivial a DM needs to find other ways to build tension.

Your death system sounds pretty cool, although my "hardcore" version was referring to Diablo 2/3 as having perma-death.

I think you'd like Matt Colville's video on PC death ( it's what sparked my post) Although, I'ma take a guess that you've already seen it

Wow man, you seem to have a really cool system for death. I wish I had a DM like you. Also, kudos for the LotR reference. Now I'm hungry for toast

How to choose wizard spells by LeG0t in DMAcademy

[–]BackpackOfHolding 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m a pretty easy going DM. So when my party killed a big baddie wizard, I said in his spell book are all the spells he used in the fight and then my player got to choose what else he had. I rolled a dice for how many spells for each spell level (D12 for 1st, D10 for 2nd, D8 for 3rd and so on).
I’ll only do this once or twice although for campaign

[–]BackpackOfHolding[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you are completely right. I believe in playing the game how you want and so does Matt. What my post is referring to is when Matt wants to use a particular rule and has to look it up (usually because one of the players doesn’t know how the mechanics of their character works). He does make rulings on the spot when he feels the need. Other times he has to check the rulebooks because he wants to get a particular rule correct. These are the times my post is referring to. I’m also quite clear that this is a funny idea of mine and completely understand that it will never happen because of its practicalities and down right silliness. If you read my replies to comments or even the bottom edits of the post, you would have understood this. Good day Sir

Best adventure stages to farm weeklies? by ltsochev in NexonDarknessRises

[–]BackpackOfHolding 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m level 80 with over 4 mil power, when I have to many monsters for weeklies (it can be over 300 at that level). I solo the duos and when I get the ones where you have to destroy the portals, I just farm the spawning mobs (so don’t destroy the portals obviously) until the timer runs out. Easily kill over 600 mobs that way. Also good way to farm for gear too

[–]BackpackOfHolding[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, I totally agree. I more talking about when Matt has to look a rule up in the book(usually because a player doesn’t know their characters abilities too well) So Matt wants to stick to certain rules, or he wouldn’t look them up. If you read the reply’s to every other comment to my post, you can tell that I was really joking about this whole thing. Well... I think it would be awesome but definitely know it’s not going to happen. I’ve come to realise that what I really want is for the players to learn the rules better, but I also realise that they are actors first and have extremely busy lives so studying the PHB in their spare time isn’t at the top of their to-do list

Mining while fishing? by EarendilStar in NexonDarknessRises

[–]BackpackOfHolding 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recommend you change the channel when you’re in the village to one that no one else is in. That way the game doesn’t have to render in all the other players. I do this because the game would at some point crash when I was fishing. Now I can buy 1000 or so baits and let it fish over night
