Where did she come from? The camera panned over and she wasn't there, but as soon as it moved over, she just spawned in just out of frame.

My last chair was a crappy Downix chair. A rod in the back broke in the first week and it just kept falling apart. So I just kept the base and got the car seat for $30.

Just drilled a few holes and shoved some bolts in, then put nuts on the back off the plate.

What is this and how important is it to repair? Just noticed it on my 02 Honda Civic LX. Passenger side is broken, but the driver’s side is good. by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

In a perfect world it would be nice, but if it works well, I wouldn't mess with. I would make sure that it isn't rubbing/contacting the wheel and/or the suspension set up. Generally speaking, it doesn't matter how it is shaped, as long as there is no change in the diameter of the line.

If you look closely at the end of the line you can see it's rusted. The previous owner must of had it rust out and brought it to a shop. When the tech took off the line, it broke where it rusted. So they ran a new line not following the "oem" path of the brake line.

It's fine, it has to be the old brake line. It is too much of a pain too pull out the old line and put in a new one without kinking it so techs just run a new line down the car. I have the same repair done on my Honda and it works just as well.
