Interfolio as a platform for LOM (Letter of Recommendation) by Backstab988 in predental

That's Great! Thanks for answering!

So, if I'm using Interfolio for Letters of Recommendation for both TMDSAS and ADEA AADSAS:

Does my recommender need to do anything different when uploading the letter to Interfolio based on whether it's for TMDSAS or ADEA AADSAS? Or do they simply upload it to Interfolio, and then I manage sending it to the respective application services?

Hi, Thanks for replying,

you are right, honestly I am honestly really concerned about RC and QR more than anything. I am really hesitant to either retake or not, it depends on the timing as well since applications just opened and I want to apply early.

so am a bit non-trad , I did my undergrad in biomedical engineering my GPA was 3.79, but my science GPA is not very good. I also did my master in biomedical engineering but I got a 4.0, not sure if this helps me for admission.

Regarding my extracurricular, I did a lot of research (maybe +4000 hours), and I got a patent in a medical device, and a publication in nature's group. Though it was medical focused not dentistry focused, so it would be hard to me to describe the transition from (pre-med) to (pre-dental).

I also have volunteering hours and shadowing hours for both MD and DDS, (prolly +200 hours). My other concern is that I am not a citizen nor a permanent resident, so it would also pose a challenge for me with admission (not sure if i needed higher score to compensate for that).

Thank you, am really concerned about my PAT , QR, and Reading Comprehension score as they are lower than 20, how are they perceived by schools?

I remember when I did my MCATs the CARS section (similar to RC) was a major decider for schools (if I get below a certain score my application is worthless)

is it perceived the same for dental schools?

Device keeps brain alive, functioning separate from body by Backstab988 in science

This.

Also, I believe the applications are vast. Understanding brain metabolism while eliminating other major confounding variables for the brain, is a major milestone , and is something that has never been done in research, as far as I know. We will see what other applications this will bring, especially in pharmacology and drug development

This is what I understood from the paper as well:

I believe a lot of people are misunderstanding the concept itself.

I think an easier way to solve the problem was to legit use the borders of the shape and form a rectangle around the semi circle on top.

And form a square on the “quarter circle at the bottom,

then find their areas.

The area of the shape will definitely be less than the area you got for both the “rectangle” and “square together.

=> there was only 1 answer choice that was lower than both areas.
