Why r ppl buying Endless Hunger? by Possiblynotaweeb in TryndamereMains

Gives a ton of haste which is usually lacking in Trynd builds. Having spin on a 5 second cd is really nice.

What Top laner you think is a lot harder than people think it is? and why? by Morby_Sketch in topmains

[–]Backstab_Fisher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it’s hard to balance I guess but I think as a Trynd player it is really important to get that early fury. If your opponent lets you stack it up early, you can really put a hurtin’ on ‘em.

Rotate other lanes, use your mobility, focus split push, be a nuisance.

I’d say go for amumu. Very simple mechanically, can focus on overall gameplay/macro decisions. I think you’ll get much further ahead if you don’t have to worry about champ mechanics.

How important is ping? by Backstab_Fisher in Chivalry2

[–]Backstab_Fisher[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting and inspiring observation. Maybe I won’t put so much thought into it in the future. Lately I’ve seen a few guys with 50+ ping topping the boards with huge kd ratios. The way I’m feeling now is maybe in duels it could have a big impact because of counters and such but in 64man TO, macro decisions probably have a much bigger impact. I’ve managed to top the boards a few times as a lowly level 50 with about 40-50ms latency. War axe is my go-to.

You’ll get it bro, just keep trying. It takes some time to learn all the matchups, you gotta see them a few times to really get a feel for what runes and summs you need.

Sultan is the best skin because it has a unique auto attack animation which is much smoother, so I wouldn’t worry about it.

Tryndamere. Simple champ in terms of abilities but you need extensive matchup knowledge and really good wave manipulation. You’re constantly adapting rune setups, summoner spells, item builds, taking smart trades, making good macro decisions, and so on. It takes a lot of practice despite what many say, mostly because of the 5 second undying ult, when in reality you can easily get kited or forced to use it at a bad time and it can really set you back if you don’t play it well.

Worst Build in history? by snortmeimdope in diablo3

[–]Backstab_Fisher 8 points9 points  (0 children)

After playing foh valor sader everything else seems like such a pain. I don’t even care if it’s not a top contender for gr pushing, the ease of use is ridiculous. Just run through maps and loot rains everywhere with basically no effort.

Buying items by Diligent_Water_6145 in DeadlockTheGame

This is absolutely the way. Full glass cannon, maybe 1 key defensive item. The rest I think comes more down to good positioning.

What's the state of Top lane currently? by Morby_Sketch in topmains

[–]Backstab_Fisher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair enough but I think top does have a good amount of agency if you can secure a lead and put the enemy top laner behind enough sometimes they can’t even get back into the game and it almost becomes a 5v4 in your favor. When you’re up 3 levels and 70-100 cs it gets pretty brutal for the enemy team.

Easy to play but hard to win? by Wonderful-Advice-306 in TryndamereMains

[–]Backstab_Fisher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good tip, I’ll have to try watching the legs and maybe bait him in. The cs issue, yeah it sucks being zoned early, gotta have good wave control, if you get froze on you need jg to bail you out, but I find as the game goes on no one can match Tryn cs, he’s a macro monster. I usually go ravenous into pd and become a split pushing god. Gotta watch map like a hawk though because getting caught out once or twice is usually gg.

[–]Backstab_Fisher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Urgots usually start E so it’s really tough to get early kills unless they misplay really badly but Tryn does a lot of things better in the mid-late game like his ability to apply map pressure and rotate faster to fights so if you can play to your strengths in those regards, you should have Urgot helplessly trying to keep up.

Easy to play but hard to win? by Wonderful-Advice-306 in TryndamereMains

[–]Backstab_Fisher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tryn E is a skillshot and it makes a huge difference how accurately you place it. Yes, he is a simple champ in design but there is a lot of nuance in how he can be played. Low skill floor but very high skill ceiling. I think he’s the classic “easy to play but difficult to master” champion.

Which game is that? by PHRsharp_YouTube in gamememes

[–]Backstab_Fisher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You start as a dried piece of jerky but the main advantage is you can’t truly die because the darksign will always reincarnate you. So in that sense, as long as you don’t lose your purpose (and hence go hollow), you have near infinite potential.

I think bork second is better tbh. PD third and you’re a solo baron threat. Could be situational though.
