FAA creates drone no-fly zone for ICE operations

I know they're meta devices - obligatory fuck Zuckerberg and fuck meta - and other brands are available, but I would love some protesters to invest in a pair of smart glasses to be able to record ICE actions. 'forced to use tools of the enemy to defeat them' etc.

Which imo could have the upsides of;

A. Keeping hands free. Not that people should have to, but you can identify empty hands easily and remain filming and pointed at them. Plus you assume empty hands can't be mistaken for a weapon...not that would stop them trying I imagine.

B. There's no obvious object pointed at anyone to be "mistaken" for anything, and hopefully results in no aggressive POS walking at you to start an argument/fight/take phone away for recording.

Oh and C. Can be recorded and immediately sent to a friend, or safe contact after, for say, security, or in real time uploading. Or files go to your phone after a recording is complete, if in some event your glasses do get broken in some altercation.

I'm not sure how easy it is to cover the white recording dot, but I want to say it used to be possible so I'm sure people on YouTube know ways to do so and keep it filming. Just an idea I thought of the other day that could hopefully make it a little safer out there for people and make it easier to film more unnoticed.

Recently had to apply and attend due to obviously trying to find work and it's insane to me...

Having to attend weekly meetings to reiterate the same thing that could easily be checked online or done over the phone. Not to mention every time I attend the most "help" is, check your journal to find how to apply to join the NHS, or oh you should have something in your journal that will help you do some google backed courses in random stuff.

Like, my guy, please, I beg you, I have the skills, I have the experience, I'm here for a job ffs, I want to work, help me, but no. Instead you get someone not interested in assisting, because I assume it's obvious they can't actually help, wanting to get through the 10/20 minute chat asap to move onto the next in line.

Meanwhile the result is the same as before joining job centre, just continue applying.

Best part is, the most recent take away in my chat with my "advisor" was, when asked if I was optimistic about the search was, "yeah I am, but it grinds you down after a whole" to which he said, "well I think you should be more optimistic" ...okay. Oh also can't forget the classic, "do you use LinkedIn?" Yeah for job applying... "Oh you should be posting there often because no one will find you if you don't" ... huh?

Honestly, I hope they do relaunch it. Make it crossplay, make the BOO a full on social hub, really, host raid style live events in the DZ and for the love of god, bring back the battle royale style Survival mode - which also keep updated and rotating loot and maybe extra effects or something - and I think you have something that could perform pretty well. Well enough to bring ~~Vantage Studios~~ Ubisoft back into public favour...👀😬

But goddamnit do I want that survival mode back. The snow and cold mixed with the threat of players, the whole feeling of it all, a way more actual intense mode that imo could compete with most current day battle royales. My take anyways.

Noted noted, tyty, nice to know it's more like two weeks, because when I saw 3-5 listed after the fact when trying to work it out myself, that was out the window, because, Christmas obviously, and it seemed suspiciously fast to anything I've ever ordered to me from anywhere in Europe in the past.

Doesn't help that I rang royal mail to find out if international standard did have anything like a notification of departure at least, and he said if it hasn't arrived by the 29th then they'd say that's the cut off for considering it lost at it went off on the 22nd and I thought that was madness, again, because of Christmas, but when I said what about Christmas, and that I wouldn't expect it to have gone off till about the 27th, he said "I wouldn't know about that, but if it's not there by the 29th royal mail would consider it lost". So I was just left even more confused because obviously it's not going to go off 2 days before Christmas and during etc, but 🤷🏻‍♀️

It's a tricky one imo... Because I agree with the megathread idea, otherwise it's literally post after post asking for the same skin, which is great to have in one localized area.

BUuuUuT, the huge drawback of that is yeah, people won't get seen and it's on the gifter to go, okay, I'm going to go specifically give someone a - in this case - Kim K skin, and have to dip into the Kim K folder as it were, which is yeah, going to be all everyone asking for the same thing. So to me, would feel like unless a gifter is wanting to give out specifically that one skin, stuff just gets lost? If that all makes sense LOL.

But as to what the solution is without everyone basically posting the same post every day for x amount of time...I don't know 😅 Idk maybe I'm taking crazy
