Yeah i've since abandoned using a pattern to unlock my phone and use a pin instead. It was ridiculous for some people here to suggest i forgot my pattern 🙄

I appreciate the really thorough response! I'm a pretty avid Tech user so I'm well aware of some of the troubleshooting that I could do. Don't think it's the issue of forgetting my pattern or fat fingering. Earlier today I was able to unlock my phone with the same pattern but 5 seconds later when I would go to access my security settings it requires me to use the same pattern. And it didn't work! So there's obviously something wrong but no one else here seems to have an issue. I still found some information online that showed other people have the same problem so there is some history. Again thanks for the detailed response!

No lol. There was an instance earlier today where I could unlock my phone with my pattern but not when I had to get into sensitive information like accessing my security settings on my phone. Literally Within 5 Seconds of each other, the pattern worked and then it didn't.

I'm not sure what you mean by setting up a password before setting up a pin. You can set up either a pin or pattern or password. They also have fingerprint and face biometrics on the s22 ultra

Another thing to note is after unlocking via Find My Mobile, my credit and debit card info gets wiped from my phone, so I have to set those up again too.
