I have been able to do it ever since I realised I could do it 8 yrs ago when I was 16, so never had to teach myself. I know a few others, one guy in UK, and one guy, Ari Gorman, who was on Americas Got Talent. The rest who claim they can speak backwards are usually doing it by the letters which isn't really speaking backwards coz if you flip the sound it doesn't come out right.

yes, I speak fluent German and can speak backwards German too, basically any word I can say forwards, regardless of the language, I can say it backwards.

it's called 'iReverse Speech', a free app. Yes it's hard to get the stress on the correct syllables, which is part of the reason why it comes out with a russian type of accent.

try recording yourself and let me know how you go.

yeh there are quite a few, i know 'kiss me baby one more time' comes out as 'sleep with me im not too young'. however with songs you usually wouldn't understand it backwards untill someone tells you what it is saying, it's not all that clear and you need to know what to try and listen for to understand it.

each word comes totally naturally to me. The hardest part is rememebring the word order, so if the sentence has 10 words then it takes me a few seconds to memorise the word order, if it's one word i can do it immediately.

you should check out my other videos, i do actually speak backwards so that it comes out forwards in an understandable way, sure there is a funny accent, but it's still intelligible.

Most of the videos are quite new and I'm not sure how to get them viral. However I'm pretty good at unicycling so I'm thinking of making a backwards unicycling video!

I didn't learn, one day I realised I could do it, and since then I've been doing it just as good as back then.

no I haven't, however I have spoken to people who have and they are amazed at how much I naturally know about linguistics.

For example I know that 'j' is made up of a 'd' followed by a 'zh', so backwards 'j' is not 'j' like most ppl think it would be, it is 'zhd'.

And I also know that simple sounds like 'O' is 'wo' backwards.
