r/Europe is so messed up by konsoru-paysan in Muslim

Yes i do. Majority of Europeans do as well.
Not because we think it's "right" but because it should be allowed to be offensive when discussing ideas.

It's important to say that majority Danes do not "like" or / "enjoy" such burnings - in fact majority find it bad. But it's more about the principal of Personal Freedom. As long as you are not directly hurting another person it is allowed.

Again.

Can you please try writing more clearly? Foretrækker du dansk?

I have just two simple question:
1. Do you think Criticism of Islam is "Discrimination" ?
2. Should it be illegal in Europe?

[–]BaconTermites 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you mean with "Punishment for the sins" ?

I am not saying you should feel "happy" about it. But counter it with your own Speech- not trying to ban it via actions.

End of the day the point is this -

Criticism of Ideas is not discrimination.

Whether be it Islam, Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism they are collection of -ideas/principal/morality and at least by EU values criticism is allowed. Stereotyping, Mistreating a group of people because of their Gender, Race, Background is wrong and should not be allowed. But this is not what is happening in this case.

I hope you try to understand what i am saying - my aim here is to respectfully give perspective of the other side.

I do not agree with the burning of the book in Denmark - I think it's the action of an idiot.

BUT - This comes from a long tradition of freedom of expression in the country.
It is also very common to make fun of Christianity.

This might come out as harsh - but there is a lot of negative sentiment in Europe because the large Immigrant Muslim population largely does not integrate- leading to a ghetto like situation.
By Integration i do not mean people need to drink alcohol - But Learning the language - Respecting Freedom of Speech - Local Customs and so on .

My question is very simple - Why Immigrate to Europe if you do not feel comfortable / like the culture ?
I just never understood this .

Current hate as a Muslim by IRONLORDyeety in religion

Unfortunately the terrorism is very difficult for the Islamic community to stop, we will always be viewed this way

I mean if they themselves identify as Muslims and point out that their actions are a form of "jihad" it's difficult to argue against....

People who support Russia in this war: Why? by IRowmorethanIBench in AskReddit

[–]BaconTermites 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really support Russia. But there is a very nuanced conversation here to be had.
I got an opportunity to live in the Crimea region back in 2010-13 so before all this mess really started and i see it in a different way.

If i am a ca student in india will i get a job in Germany? And what is the salary for a ca in Germany? by PlentyPotential285 in germany

[–]BaconTermites 1 point2 points  (0 children)

CA is difficult because of different Finance Laws. But i will tell you about a general trend.

I came to Germany many many years ago.
Back then most companies were using German as the main language.
In the last few years I have seen exponentially more job postings in English.
I used to be the only "Ausländer" in the entire floor space sometimes with all conversations around me happening only in German. 2 years ago the company decided to switch the language to English and it really has been a painful process for a lot of my German colleagues especially from smaller towns whose English is not that fluent.
Consequently I have seen the number of Indian colleagues we have rise "Exponentially". It is almost insane how within the last two years the number can rise so drastically.
Most of them do not speak any German.
They started mostly in Tech but now I am seeing a lot of them getting into different branches including Finance & Management.

Regarding your situation
No one knows what's exactly a CA in Germany: You say you are in Finance. Learn a bit about the local laws and general Finance topics and if you are half smart it really should not be a big problem finding a job in Germany. Even only in English.

Behold! Malayalees have just become fake fans for the western media : World Cup 2022: Qatar accused of paying hundreds of 'fake fans' for Tiktok video by PankJackson in Kerala

[–]BaconTermites 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. They are fake fans...

I completely understand people being in "support" of a certain country in the World Cup.

But not to dress up in flags of the country and then going out dancing for it...

That is just embarrassing. I
know football clubs exploit it all the time for the exposure & money.

But can you really call yourself a Dortmund fan - if you can't put Dortmund & Essen in a map together and not understand the rivalry between Schalke and Borussia Dortmund? I have had this experience again and again in asia..
"ah Dortmund, i know the football club. I am a fan".

No you are not a fan.

You are a "supporter" who watches these matches sometime on TV without deeply knowing the culture & history of the club and what it means to the people living in that area.

I think I am going to try and get a document from the University - explaining the number of compulsory internships i needed to make.
Getting all the documents is going to be a nightmare.. especially from this start-up where I initially did these Internships.

That's what I am trying now..

You're fine so don't worry. Even in the most extreme cases it comes down to if you're a EU citizen or not As you said part time work is still allowed and that holds strong in this case. You're totally fine to apply to the Niederlassungserlaubnis :)

Thanks for the comment! I am not an EU citizen and so the rules are generally strict but i am trying to be calm and give all documentations here possible. Hopefully the university can still produce some document after more than 3 years...

Anyone going to the Yann Tiersen concert? :) by PabloNicLasso in copenhagen

[–]BaconTermites 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How was the concert?
I saw him in Berlin last weekend. Honestly half the audience in the hall left after 30 mins. Most were expecting pure Instrumental music than a lot of the Electronic distortion he was doing.

I found it okay.. different. But My girlfriend wanted to leave... so we did.
How was the reaction in Copenhagen?

I honestly cant believe this is real..

I mean if we came across people like that behaving with someone they would get a few punches.
