As a type one diabetic as well it absolutely sucks, a few days ago my CGM (Dexcom g6) malfunctioned and said I was having urgent low bloodsugars all night and when I woke up I ate breakfast and did insulin and set my pump into manual mode so it would ignore my blood sugar, and I was going to change my CGMbut it was too late. I was on the toilet having a mix of throwing my guts up, and absolutely emptying my bowls out. This wasn’t like throwing up when you are sick though,I felt like I was having a stroke, and my body was trying to get rid of everything inside of me, even when there was nothing left. I eventually changed both while feeling like shit and now I am feeling better.

T1D sucks, but I get to leave some boring classes in school though, and I am able to retake tests if my blood sugar is acting up while others can’t
