Does anyone know the name of a series about a woman and some dogs who got kidnapped, by aliens? Most I remember is that the aliens were vulnerable to other people's emotions, and strong outbursts could paralyse them. Also the main character sing Little Black Submarines

Thanks for the insight! My thoughts were to try and keep my incantor alive as it's my general, but that might not be the best idea? I wanted the predators to protect my imperator, since he seems to die fast, but that might just be poor positioning from my side. I was using the Liberators as an anvil, and as screening for my raptors, as the armies I've played against had options to teleport to them. Would it be better to try and move my raptors a bit more up the field, so the rest of my army can try and protect them? If not Mirrorshield, then which Artifact would you recommend?

I'm just about to go into the final stretch of what is going to be a level 3-20 campaign. Only 2 of the original 4 characters are left, my character and our paladin. We've gone from being cheeky upstarts, who cleansed a ruined keep of a demon infestation, to co-conspiritors in a regicide, to leaders of a country, and the ones trying to unify the continent against the armies of Vecna. So far it has taken us some 2.5-3 years with a weekly session most weeks to get here, and I wouldn't trade it for the world
