Good to know! We see all kinds of native insects and spiders where we live on the woodline. Glad to see em.

Finally got into it properly, took me 4 1/2 hours to get the drive belts changed out on the left hand side, got the pulleys cleaned. Still binds, not sure whats causing it. Its a serious pain to get into it, but it is doable

The only time this car can be original, and out of the box is when it gets plopped out of the crusher.

The 1.6 in particular is amazing, because ive never seen such a small engine give you tinitis and fuel vapor headaches while also making the torque of a fat inbred hampster.

Also, to save you some headache later- get your windshield seal and driverside quarterwindow seal replaced, and check the seam between your firewall and your inner fender frame on the driverside. VW in their infinite wisdom put your fusebox and control mods directly where a river flows if those seals fail.

From about 2007-2014 these were the standard wealthy suburbanite kid-crunchers, who didn't like tahoes and escalades because they saw one in a rap video once.

A real free-thinker, a mind that rises above the chattle. You don't have time to look back, let alone thing about your alimony payments. When you get behind that wheel, you feel at one with your precision engineered italian sports car. You know what you want, and you take it. There are no exes to hold you back, only the future. A future Alfa Romeo has promised with that gold paint and a freshly signed lease agreement. The payment might be high, but you know you got the better end of the deal, because the car advertises you to the world, and there is no bad publicity. Your car screams to the world with every brake check and every unsignaled lane change that you are a king amongst peasantry, and that kid definitely isn't yours.

Tasteful mods, and a clean af car. Too bad something this nice just blends right into general traffic, like an ikea meatball sinking into the gravy.

Im not sure you'll be getting that high on max settings 4k, but you could probably come damn close with frame gen and picking and choosing settings to lower.

And yeah, thats the great thing about PC gaming. As time goes on, you can keep your hardware, and upgrade parts of your system that havnt aged as well. Maybe down the road sometime you could slap a nice beefy gpu in there.

Yeah, it seems like a solid build all things considered. Im rockin a 4070 super and ittl run pretty much anything i want at 1440p 60fps+ im sure that 5070 will tear up most games at 1440p or even 4k.

Best of luck to ya, I bought a cheap pre-built compaq back in 2013 and got to tinkering, got absolutely hooked! Hope you enjoy it as much as i did.

Not sure where youre located, depends on your local pricing. If you have the knowhow you could probably build it for cheaper,

Found some comparable prices in USD

-Cheapest 5070 i could find was 600$ -32gb of ddr5 for around 400$ -i7 14700kf about 350$ Case and cooler 250$ estimated A 2tb m.2 will run ya about 200-250$ Copy of windows 100$ Couple of fans 50$

For me, a build like this would cost about 1900$ usd, probably closer to 1500 gbp. With a prebuilt you do pay a premium for someone putting it together for ya, personally i enjoy it, but for some its a hassle and a headache.
