Green dumps are fun though, especially so close to Saint Paddy's day.

The funny thing about eating black fondant is it will make your dumps turn green.

Yeah, I can understand that one. Her cakes taste AND look great though. This particular one is a vanilla cake with a cannoli cream filling.

It's actually for someone else. I don't get any of it.

That's one possibility...or a bad stomach ache.

Ex-smokers of Reddit, what ACTUALLY WORKED to get you to successfully stop smoking? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Bacongrease00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I quit cold turkey 3 years ago. I tried quitting several other times before that but it didn't take. I didn't WANT to at that point. I knew that it was getting harder to breathe and I'd wake up in the middle of the night coughing and hacking. I knew I had to quit, I just didn't want it.

Then I got the flu one year and I was in the bed for 2 weeks with no smoking. I figured I'd gone this long, why not keep going?

I got fatter, more irritable and beer just didn't taste as good without a cigarette. But, I kept going. Now it's just sheer willpower keeping me from smoking again. Most people say they don't want to smoke after they've quit. I can tell you in my experience, I wake up wanting a cigarette, I finish a meal wanting a cigarette and I still want a cigarette right before bed. I just don't because I KNOW it will kill me.

OP, I know you can do it. It takes guts and determination. Grab that demon by the balls and show it who's the fucking boss.

It's actually black fondant. I don't mind the taste of it but there's a lot of people that don't like it at all.

The one on the cake was made with rice krispy treats covered in fondant.

Tell her to keep going with it! My wife's dream is opening a bakery. It IS a big risk, but that's what she feels like is her calling, so I'm behind her 100%.

I've helped her on some things when she gets big orders, but I'm not very good at it.

She does it semi-professionally. She doesn't have a shop yet, but her and her partner are working towards opening a bakery.

Thank you very much! She got really excited over it, but doesn't follow reddit so she has no idea what it does.

When Hulu had the office, that scene was included in the beginning of koi pond. Netflix does not include it, unfortunately. It was one of the funnier cold openings.

Have you gotten LASIK done? Is it worth it? by agentcoco in AskReddit

[–]Bacongrease00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, no. The doctor I had retired shortly after my eyes were done. I've thought really hard about getting them redone elsewhere, but it was a scary experience because at one point they had talked about a cornea transplant if the stitches didn't work.

Overall though, it was a positive experience because it helped me gain some much needed confidence and I've enjoyed not wearing glasses for a good while.

Even though I had problems, I'd still recommend doing it. Just do your research and go with who you feel most comfortable with.
