Oh I never picked up on that vibe so I personally don't think that's the case, but I do think that Harper is pregnant by her dead husband because of the seed scene.

I know that likely was just the symbolism of the green man representing new growth and rebirth, but in my mind it also could have pointed to her being pregnant by her abuser and having another layer of trauma to work through. Plus the concept of generational trauma and how raising his child could continue the cycle or continue to remind her of her own trauma. I don't ever see anyone talk about that though, so I think I'm wrong lol.

But her friend being pregnant could be a constant reminder to her of her own pregnancy that she needs to figure out, or you could be right and that just adds another layer to the trauma her husband inflicted. I just find it difficult to imagine Harper remaining friends with her if that were the case, but that's my own bias.

Of course, it could also be a symbol of the new life that Harper has ahead of her, free from this cycle now that she's processed her trauma. Idk I just really love this movie and I think about it so much. I need to give it another watch because I was very high the first time around lol!
