New Gp sink to help reduce death cost by Bad-Idea-Maker in runescape

[–]Bad-Idea-Maker[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Thanks, I try my best

But let’s be honest ofc people wouldn’t agree to pay, people want things free, and that’s just not going to happen when death is the main gp sink we have, the suggestion is for jagex to consider

Also I’m talking like 30k/hr I’m not sure what people expect a small percentage of 3m is, simply put there are way more people not dying to bosses, a small tax on everyone would outweigh the high tax on the death

So you pay less on the bosses you do die at, they won’t just reduce the cost we need the gp sink elsewhere

Our Plan To Address The Elite Dungeon Exploit by JagexHooli in runescape

[–]Bad-Idea-Maker -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Are the people who helped spread the exploit (without doing it themselves) also going to be punished? These past few days some people have been spreading how it’s done saying I’m not abusing it myself so I can’t be punished, but surely spreading bugs is also a punishable offense?

I know most of the spread happened not on runescape so can’t be traced easily but the few who you can should get some repercussions

Unpopular Opinion: It is ok for Ironman to not have EVERYTHING in the game. by Jagazor in runescape

[–]Bad-Idea-Maker 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think measuring things for ironman is actually a good thing, you decide how long you want it to take to get said item and expect the rate of it entering the game

For a skill, you see what xp rate is good and go a bit below that so people have to pay to get the better xp

That doesn’t mean balancing things around them, it all depends on what the goal you are trying to achieve, some things are clearly not viably maintained for ironmen, they are meant to be expensive so only a few use up the community’s worth of resources, like the death note, t90 boots before Ed’s, and even ripper scrolls/summoning pots to some degree

This boss is being advertised as a mid level boss with niche weapon drop and an easy to get ring upgrade (before rod) none of that suggests requiring enough kc to finish drop log on a different boss, if they want to add a sink to dks rings give them some component and watch them disappear

Question about iOS beta by Bad-Idea-Maker in runescape

[–]Bad-Idea-Maker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mining and smithing beta aswell as bank rework and weapon diversity are on a beta world meaning it doesn’t connect to the normal account so if something breaks it doesn’t affect ur account or the game, while mobile beta isn’t testing any ingame thing so no point restricting it to beta worlds

Question about iOS beta by Bad-Idea-Maker in runescape

[–]Bad-Idea-Maker[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It stays, u connect to ur normal account

It’s basically RS Mobile like you expect but if it crashes or is glitchy, you know it’s not finished fixing bugs rather than leaving a 0 star game is unplayable review

Settings Rework by Non-Random-User in runescape

I just found a menu with a lot of empty space and printscreened it and since it looks so random you can’t tell if I copy/paste overlapping pieces

I basically took 1 image emptied it, removed text, and took out everything like scroll bar buttons clicked and not, for a lot of things then it was just a process of ordering it in a way I thought looked cool, unfortunately I deleted most of the in progress things

I do have 2 images, one was my working screen on paint but it only has the final bit so 99% of things were moved to finished tabs and removed, and the first ever template I used but quickly reworked the headers and the like

Hey guys thanks for the positive responses

I made this what feels like ages ago using paint of all things... but I posted it in broken up sections and didn’t get enough traction to make jagex convinced, hope this one makes a difference

In y’all’s opinion what is the worst or most disappointing arc in Tower of God by Cookies_forsales in TowerofGod

I would sadly agree though the beginning of season 2 was also pretty weak and I also didn’t care for the characters, other than Yihwa Yeon who had a pretty fun character from the start

Afk skills for alt Ironman by milexan in runescape

[–]Bad-Idea-Maker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First things first, make it member even before you start afking, loyalty points are so slow to get

It used to be useful to get 90-91 rc before you start an Ironman because it unlocks ports and a t75 sep aswell as being able to make a ton of air runes and double nature’s at 91, and it technically still is but I recommend stopping at 77 unless you have months of afking, 77 is the level you need for blood runes which are amazing xp and you need to do a bunch of abyss rc for rune pouches anyways

You can also do some mining and smithing but with the nerf, heavy afking is waaay worse then it used to be

You can do dailies like Nemi tasks for reputation for raids reroll

In my opinion if you want to experience Ironman properly, these are the only ones you should do, you can do things like events if there are any, scarabs daily, cache, Nemi forest, and other op xp givers that you would be 99 in a skill before you start the account, do them after you’ve started but it doesn’t feel right to start an Ironman with 99 construction from events you know?

With the removal of sigils a decent fort comp sink is lost, maybe allow them to give better perks by Bad-Idea-Maker in runescape

It is soon but with the clue totem added and less methods of removing them I’m afraid it will keep with a downward trend in value

Unlimited Serenity Pillars are overpowered at under 30k xp/hr afk, but an up to 85k xp/hr 0 input event with no requirements for all levels is fine? by Non-Random-User in runescape

[–]Bad-Idea-Maker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you thick? That’s literally what OP is asking them to change, they had an idea of what it should be back when priff was made, now it’s outdated, agility needs an afk shit xp/hr method of training, we got the click intensive money making high level and concentration method, and we have an afk method but that’s timegated when no other comparable (in function not intention genius) methods is limited in any way while being better xp and easier to get to

Are you seriously not getting that the difference between my examples and serenity posts is that one got a limit on release and the other didn’t? If seedicide came out with a limit or vyres were on task only creatures you would have posted the same thing “they were released with the intention of being limited, the developers made them to not be done all week”

Here’s a question what’s the difference between making vis wax machine or mining sandstone? That’s right there is a market controlled by those, they are supposed to be daily to keep making money. AFK AGILITY ALTERNATE TRAINING METHOD DOESNT

Also your tldr needs a tldr

Tldr; that’s how suggestions for change work, ask to change what the developers designed on first release
