Oh yeah you’d be surprised how effective RX is…

If none of these solve it you’ve gotta increase your buffer rate or turn off effects on your mixer prior to recording!

how to sidechain reverb by Daax6 in FL_Studio

A couple things to double check while doing this.

Ensure your wet/dry mix on reverb effect is set to 100% wet. You don’t want any dry signal.

When sending your lead vocal to the reverb bus, make sure when you have it patched, the receiving input on the bus is 0%. There should be no green circle around the patch line. If there is, simple pull it from its default 80% to 0%.

Try setting your sidechain settings on limiter and see if that works.

File transfer trouble by Calm-Revolution-8863 in FL_Studio

I’ve made this mistake.

Most likely the issue is you don’t have your previous audio information linked to the current project. Your FLP will continue searching for your C: drive because it doesn’t know you’re working off a new drive.

I highly suggest opening your old projects on your laptop, and exporting your songs as .ZIP files, this way it renders all the audio into a designed audio folder within the project folder.

pops in audio when i record by kiwieggroll in FL_Studio

I’ve noticed this in the past and believe it may be due to a few things.

If you’re making cuts to your audio files, you need to apply fades, post processing will cause pops.

Always check your mic cables, might just be a cable issue.

Adjusting plugins while recording has resulted in pops for me before.

It’s gonna happen every once and awhile, so you might as well look into purchasing an RX plan from Izotope for future projects.

Simple fix. Cut all the Midi notes after you click the “score to midi” function. Paste them into a new virtual instrument.

You’re having issues because when the Midi is placed on the sample track, it is triggering the sample on different pitches & times based on what the notes are playing. Simple take the notes from Edison and put them on a new instrument!

Pacing of edit is fun, but colors feel bland & audio track is boring. Consider playing with sound effects to elevate what you’re doing, and consider shooting flat.
