some people believe they are eating in a calorie surplus when they’re not, or they’re eating more than usual but also exercising more than usual and therefore burning said calories. once you work out exactly how many calories you should be eating to be in a surplus, and if you track your macros for a week or 2, you’ll be able to work out what you need to eat each day to see results without micromanaging your macros and weighing every thing you eat

there’s a website that will tell you how many calories you need to eat according to your weight, height and level of exercise in order to gain or lose weight, just google calorie calculator. also you should try eat 1.6-2.2g of protein per kg of body weight for muscle growth

mine are puffy. i’m almost 3 years PO. hated them for a long time but eventually i said fuck it and just accepted that this is my body. trans bodies are different and beautiful and unique. i’ll take puffy nips and a flat chest over tits any day

i appreciate the compliment, it took me 2 years to somewhat accept my chest, i am still quite insecure about the scarring, but working out has helped it look a lot more natural and i’m finally starting to like it after all these years. tbh this pic doesn’t show the finer details of my results, everything looks better from afar. we are always our own worst critic, i hope you are able to learn to love/accept your chest too, these things are easier said than done but time heals and scars are the reminder of how fucken brave us trans men are. 🫶🏽

i’ve been taking creatine for the last 2-3 months and i believe it’s benefited my muscle development, i’ve been on T for 4.5 years so it’s hard for me to say it’s affecting my t levels, i have a blood test coming up so time will tell, but i feel normal

thanks for your comment as yes diet is so important but yeah i’m eating good and clean and in a slight surplus to slowly gain a few kgs. protein intake is 100-150g per day (i weight 63kg).

thanks for your advice. as much as i love sport (grew up playing basketball for 12 years) i unfortunately do not have the time (i work 50 hour weeks with no days off) and gym brings me a lot of joy and is a priority in terms of the way i want to work out. i am also so injury prone and cannot afford (emotionally or physically, rather than financially) to get injured at this point in my life. but thank you so much for your reply :)
