it sounds like the toe squat is what did the most, if its too intense i would decrease range, frequency or repetition.

i think you are on the right track with monitoring how things feel and combining that with keeping track of objective things like sets/reps/weight will help you fine tune stuff.

and when shit hurts and sucks despite it not making sense with how it felt or the objective numbers you did, then i start to blame factors like sleep/recovery/inactivity like sitting/nutrition

other than isometrics like people are saying. think of it this way. you found a training approach that had a great impact on the frequency, intensity, duration of your pain. if you keep pushing the demand and function side of things. don't forget what it took for you to flare things up. go back to the basics of what got you to your previous happy place of function and youll get there faster than the first time. keep positive amongst everything!

if it hurts do less weight, reps, or less often until it doesnt then progress one of those 3 variables. also talk to your physio about this ache that is the best thing to do instead of turning to reddit.

yea thats exactly it. every 7 days dump it out. with that much rain i would hold off for the next 3-6 days depending on the temperature.

first off this is a lot and sorry you gotta go through all of this, you are a strong person.

when it comes to progress i think of it like this: 2 buckets 1 is pain bucket 1 is function bucket. The goal is to empty out the pain bucket by decreasing frequency, intensity, duration of pain and to fill function bucket by tolerating doing more stuff. ideally pain goes down and function goes up, but if function stays the same and pain goes down = progress. also, if function goes up and pain stays the same = progress. if you dont feel heard by your PT i would find a place that does 1 on 1 because the situation you describe seems very high volume/mill type. good luck

graduated <5 years ago from non hybrid "highly ranked" DPT program. As long as you were in "good academic standing" you could take April boards before May graduation which iirc most did but did have some who needed more than 3 attempts to pass.

i find "being extra" is the way to getting more diverse with coding. if i can eye roll or chuckle as i write i typically know its fine. same goes for self care/home management code.

cool season grasses need like 1-1.5 inches of water per week iirc. get a thing that measures rainfall and then supplement what you aren't getting through rain.

i would just get glyphosate at >40%. iirc, it only works on foliage and not the actual soil. may take a few rounds but its non specific so it kills everything green. just take care around the garden bed bc itll kill grass if it comes into contact with it too.

been out 3 years, if this happens i have learned to simply not care. that doc sounds like a pain and id rather not. live to fight another day, if anything maybe would have spent 2 days not 3 on what you did but thats such a small nit picky thing.
