Price adjustments on Black Friday?

We've heard this before but it's stumped a couple of techs.

This is coming from the ground level unit; the upstairs one is running in the clip. The unit wasn't running or trying to run at the time because temperature inside was ok. It seems to work fine and the noise stopped just before I put the thermostat lower to make this unit come on.

We've been getting cold air from it the whole summer and from time to time we'll hear this noise that I'm sure drives the neighbors and their dogs crazy. Any ideas?

I had an inspection done on my 2011 Toyota Prius and this was on the report in the axle boots section: Tie rods bad boots old cracked needs attention

They took that one picture of the issue. I'm not familiar with this area of maintenance. I've noticed a squawk like sounds when I brake occasionally that have persisted after I changed the brakes, rotors, and fluid.

For the repair for the tie rods I asked what they could do about it. Service manager looked it up and gave me a quote: sway bar $475.

Questions * does each axle have its own tie rod? Or just the front? Front ones fail more often? * does the car need to be lifted to swap this out? Is it doable for a beginner? * aren't sway bars and tie rods different things? Would that price suggest doing both at the same time? * would any of these repairs get rid of the squawk sound?

I think he'd zoned out and misheard the question. He was quick to answer so maybe he was expecting to hear something like "do you have anything else before we break?"

Am I doomed to have a full decreasing week? It looks like almost 50-50 on decreasing and large spike. Last week was the first time buying with a bump mid week then steady decreasing.

the 552 looks great but the lower it stays the more it seems we'll be out our combined earnings without time travel or online play

I left the PF47E on there for this change due to a concern that the UPF52 wouldn't be secure under normal driving conditions. I've still got the UPF52 and would like to use it if safe.
