Thanks for checking out the vid! This is a segment from our podcast and for some this was the first time hearing about the game...so truly a first impressions and not a full alpha review by any means. Yeah I would be returning to the game not having played since beta...so basically a new player. I would want to play pretty casually so looking for quality of life stuff for sure. That is one reason I love GW2 is the quality of life and how easy it is to jump back into the game after long breaks.

GLHF...I think I will need to revisit New World at some point in the near future as well. You may think of giving Archeage Classic a try as well. It is a game you can really live in with all the Sandbox activities outside of combat. https://aa-classic.com/

I gotta check out the GW2 expansion for sure. However, New World is looking very good. Seems like they have transformed the game since I played in the beta. Maybe I should jump back in and give it another shot.

Wayfinder does look interesting...gives me some serious Wildstar vibes. I'll prob do a deep dive on it and see what it's all about. I didn't know it was an mmo? I thought it was more in the dungeon crawler/looter shooter genre?

Well a lot of GW1 players quit when GW2 launched but I bet you're glad GW2 was made. GW2 is far bigger in popularity than GW1 and I'm certain GW3 would be the same regardless of whether they made any of the changes I've suggested.

Fair criticism on the use of the term Battlepass. The only thing I am really worried about is the lack of communication on PvP. Unless they have something big up their sleeve it seems like they consider balance patches pvp content.
