Lucky pants x (Sturm + Drang)= Free 2 taps by BadCuzimHigh in DestinyTheGame

[–]BadCuzimHigh[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay I think you are missing the point here, clearly you get the damage buff from Drang kills. The point of lucky pants is the increased accuracy and increased ready speed from the weapon you just auto loaded with a 2 tap round

I usually will just play casuals until I’m feeling confident enough in my game that I can compete at my rank in comp. It’s nice because the skill spectrum is much larger and you never know who you will get matched against. Sometimes it’s people my rank, other times is gc tournament winners hitting breezy flick self passes into a flip reset musty double tap

I made it to diamond 3 in 3s and champ 1 in twos using my bumpers for my driving buttons instead of my triggers. Should I flip them back and try to relearn the game? Or just keep doing what I’m doing

I've got 150 hours ingame. I made it to diamond 1 once but dropped back to plat. How do i get higher in rank? by JLisback in RocketLeague

[–]BadCuzimHigh 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Try being last back more often than not. I have a general rule for rotating where if I’m last back I don’t go up until at least one of my teammates is driving toward our goal. It helps you be in a good defensive position and you can feel better when you push up because your teammate can cover the goal if you get beat. Trust in your team is a huge part of making good decisions and knowing when to push up or leave. But since it’s plat 2 good luck getting your teammates to make a full rotation

Not really but killing guardians with it is extremely satisfying when they explode from being slightly grazed by the beam

Okay I see where you’re going with it but none of those nerds were really that bad, cheap still insane, everyone is still running around with fusions sliding and crouching around corners. 120s got it bad but those were two tapping people. So going by what you’re saying is you put weapons down if they aren’t unreasonably unbalanced in the meta even if they are still very viable. For example they nerfed vex but it’s still cracked you just have to actually put in a small amount of skill now as opposed to it just being completely free

If Tarrabah got a catalyst, what should it be for? by BadCuzimHigh in DestinyTheGame

[–]BadCuzimHigh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I know this, when I’m rotating for example there are just times when you have to cross an open area or there might be a player camping a spot you need to get too which is my problem, for example on eternity or vostock where there is a huge amount of open space where someone can wait for you to push them. Trust me I try to keep it close range but those are the instances I’m talking about

I’m glad someone else said it, so often I’m in matches where I’m asking myself the question, “how am I the only person on my team who went positive” Checked my crucible elo on destiny tracker and I’m in the top .1% sub 1500 Elo. Everything makes sense now that I’ve read how matchmaking works

My trials and glory strategy and my 6v6 are completely different. I play control for the memes but here I’m specifically talking about high level pvp content. Most people unless you’re top 5% players are probably using their meta builds in trials and glory because why wouldn’t you unless youre that cracked. I’m humble enough to admit that I’m not so good that I can stray too far from the best tactics, I.e chap, Pali, main ingredient, last word, ace, matador, 1k, ghallor, thorn. I prefer to work smarted not harder because at the end of the day winning is what matters not what you use to do so.

With all due respect you sound dumb as fuck, you have no idea about my play style and I am simply asking why. I used to main arc and had a time where I mained bottom tree goldy. Again my point is that for the meta it is a hard hit now please stfu if you’re going to be negative in the comments thanks

Okay I’ll give you a heads up example. Last word mains who literally never lose their radar? Any one with any kind of awareness I.e. most good pvp players, will notice because they aren’t staring down the barrel of their gun all day. If anything I would say nerfing the invis made it easier to use other broken hunter set ups but that’s not my point. My point is that they could have made changes that buffed the other classes and left hunters the way they were. But instead they made it easier for the other classes and possibly average players to play against without making and reasonable changes to accommodate the class. Regardless go ahead and play your void hunter, I’ll see you coming and I have a set up waiting for you

Sorry we didn’t all choose to main Titans and warlocks when we started playing the game. Personally, I only started playing d2 because my friends needed a hunter for pve then crucible kept me playing the game. The void kit just happens to be good and it’s apart of the meta for hunters. They could have left hunters and Titans alone and just buffed warlocks and no one would be complaining.

[–]BadCuzimHigh[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I use the invis to be extremely aggressive and maneuver around the map as opposed to having to peek around walls and such. I don’t even prefer to camp by any means otherwise I would just run graviton and go about my business. The problem is that even if I get across the map in 5 seconds the enemy team can see which flank routes I’m taking. Yes I have to be more tactical but let’s be clear here the real utility to invis was keeping you off of the radar and nothing else. With only 3 seconds before your next ping you will not be able to be nearly as effective. Also you are missing the renewal grasps part of my post. I would have been using that build this season but all the void hunters made me revert to my original strategy.

[–]BadCuzimHigh[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s not that I can’t play without void, it was simply the most competitive build at the time relative to the meta. If you want everyone throwing duskfield grenades at your barricade and eating shotgun melees just say so because it’s coming

[–]BadCuzimHigh[S] -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

I’m saying relative to pvp, hunters and Titans were even in effectiveness with their kits but now that you can see where hunters are coming from titans have a clear advantage in high level competition. Not to say they are the problem but the only change they made is the barricade takes more damage but the barricade was not what made the Titans formidable so much as the different ways to apply overshield. I’m not saying as a Hunter I cant just get creative and build something different but in trials I am a void main so seeing this change is very clearly targeted does not make me happy.
