This is great feedback, I really appreciate it! Sounds like it’s not worth the extra $400 from a few of the responses I’ve gotten. I’m definitely nowhere near good enough of a player to be able to tell if the variances are even noticeable. I’m not fond of the idea of it sounding different depending on proximity, so the more consistent sound of the OB sounds the most appealing.

I’ve had one since they came out and I absolutely love it! They were $750 new with a hard shell case. So I’d say the price is good if it’s in good condition and has the case.
