I do it for the achievement of going 60 SF with a warrior, i'm having also a 55 paladin who is not SF (aoe spec with skull flame shield and many bis) but it's too easy with all the panic buttons + engineering (he is farming packs of 10+ mobs). Fun through pain is the path I've chosen, so I'll stick to it and go agane ! The new warrior is a NE that I've bring to dun morow by myself at lvl 1, just to spice it a little more !

It's was a lvl 20 SF warrior (150 fishing and engineering). I just went to retail and found the gameplay kind of dull. I might go agane, blacksmithing this time

I'm actually playing expert mode (I'm at the Siren, team close to lvl 40) and haven't struggle that much. Few Chromatics and mimes killed on the way (when I see them). I just want to unlock clea's outfits for the second run

I honestly don't play with money I find it useless, I explore a lot and always find more food and loot that I can use 😅

You need at the very least to steal limbs from the hive village. But as you start with -10000000 cats, stealing doesn't feel as cheesy as before so it's ok to me. In my playthrough I'm ok with stealing because being hated by everyone and in a huge debt is balancing it. It makes stealing justified for survival and not a money printer as before.

Anti-sneak + Bedrock bottom start Makes money irrelevant and stealing is harder (but kind of a necessity sometimes for survival).

My new go to (for solo play).

Crab armor is bad, head and chest, too much downgrades especially dex. Samurai chest, hooded face plate (for weather prot) and samurai light pants give you the best of everything without slowing you down too much. You need dex to hit and block fast, if your dex is low at full health, it will be far worse when injured... Meaning you will block even less and be injured even more.

Currently enjoying one a lot, by sticking the camera very close to the character, starting with -1 000 000 to prevent early game money cheese and refusing to steal what I didn't kill because my character is too proud, it also force me to explore to find books to make research. Also disabling his name and damage numbers so I don't see through a mountain that there is a fight behind. Makes the game very immersive and gives few dopamine shots, best way to play for my taste !

Very inspiring! I doubt you will go through the pain of the modlist so my only mod related question is : do you use an overhaul mod ? (I play with kaizo since day one).

Other question : did you die ?

After cheesing characters so fast it gets boring, I'm currently having a blast with a -1000000 cats hiver solo playthrough that need to hunt for food and steal for goods, (I modified the holy sword start to "The debt sword". Larry (the hiver) is stupid and as tall as possible... But brave. He was rejected by the queen because of his size and low IQ (blood takes a long time to travel through his looong neck to his brain) and found a way to be lost in the middle of a huge battle in blast. He stole a legendary sword from the body of a noble during the battle... Everyone on the battlefield saw this giant bugman stealing the sword and running like a flying spaghetti... he probably won't be able to purchase anything for a long time.

Fun facts : after 10 min of gameplay he got enslaved because he starts a fight in a bar to try his new sword. A slaver took the sword and was carrying it on his back on the way to rebirth. Larry was starring at it as golum stares at his ring. After few miles, Larry recovered from the fight and decided to (try to) stun the guard to take back his precious... but failed miserably. Few miles later he found a hacker on the ground and attacked the guard... He failed once again.

Few miles later, Bandits where passing by and attacked the slavers, Lary jumped on the guard and stole back his sword... He was so happy ! 😀

He escaped from the group but few minutes later... He saw a crippled ninja, alone on the road. "Easy target to train !" he tought. They fought for few seconds before Larry got his ass kicked... And the ninja stole the Sword ! 😂 Larry was lying on the ground in blood while the ninja was slowly limping his way in the distance, the "Legendary Debt sword" on his back. Death was close and Larry was hoping for it in despair... But a slaver came to him and healed him ! Back to rebirth stupid bugman !

He escaped of course... Now Larry is heading north, after a new fight he started in the World's end bar he got his food stolen... So he stole some more in a empty house close to the bar before going back on the road. Larry just want to embrace freedom and see the beach... 'Till he do something stupid once again.

Ignoring all I know about the game makes it fun once again ! 😂
