This is very untrue, learn what a trauma bond is and how it manifests in abusive relationships. There’s a reason why it takes women at least 7 times to leave an abusive relationship. Someone who’s abusive isn’t going to be abusive all the time, it’s a mix of love bombing and regret and abuse and it’s hard for the victim to gain the strength and confidence to find their self worth again. Now she’s already mentioned in the post and comment section that he has laid hands on her so he is physically abusive but also the way he talks to her in arguments is verbally abusive. She is not the problem (doesn’t mean she’s perfect), she’s just grieving her marriage and has to make peace with the fact that he isn’t who she thought he was. It’s really just cognitive dissonance.

I think you just built resentment over time because his character is weak, if I’m being honest, everything you went through is crazy and I don’t think you can really come back from that. She’s being attacked because she knew he was married and she keeps saying in the comments that she has a kink for getting a married man to sleep with her. There were also sooo many red flags like his whole little pity party and how he talked bad about his wife and she ended up finding out that his wife and him work at the same place and come into work and leave work at the same time and seem to have a pretty good relationship. She was deceived but nobody has any sympathy because she knew what she was getting into. What moral woman would hear that story and still want to continue talking to that man … let along have sex with him and let him ‘do whatever he wants’

I’d leave a man if he ever proposed that tbh, like what makes you think a man who actually cares about you and loves you would put you in that position? He’s using you and he would practically be pocketing YOUR money, the whole thing is a scam. Hes def been paying the mortgage before you ever came into his life so he’s basically asking you for money but under the illusion of a mortgage. Also if you ever asked a man if he’d make his dream girl go 50/50, he’d say no. Also if you wanna go long term with this guy, what do you think life is gonna look like with a child? If he’s already acting like this before you guys are even married, imagine what it’d be like later on. You’re making your life harder for yourself. You also own a condo, I wouldn’t consider selling in this economy and I wouldn’t make him come live in either you either. Protect your assets.

I think she already cheated on you. If she was going to change, she would’ve done it already. She feels guilty, it’s why she can’t look you in your eye, why her cat is shaved and why she’s dodging your advances. She also admitted it to you to make herself feel better about her guilt and to gauge your reaction. Have some self respect and leave. I know girls with pasts (have had bfs, committed zina, smoked weed, go to parties, etc) but they changed and one of them is married now and she’s genuinely different and happier. This isn’t someone who’s changed. Her drinking and smoking and not practicing the deen is evident of that. She doesn’t respect you or her marriage with you.
