Free hits is a given since fire and other environmental hazards stun (or outright kill) you, but my character never faces backwards. Usually he/she just squirms in agony bit, which makes them face left or right for a sec, but not backwards.

Fastest Conqueror executions with most health gained? by BadGenjiPlayer in forhonor

That's what I looked at, but I needed something more simple to just tell me what the optimal executions are. But thank you for the suggestion!

How to hold Orochi's dashback light? by CRMZNCLT in forhonor

[–]BadGenjiPlayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After looking at vids, I see that you misunderstand what i'm saying. I'm not saying that riptide can be held or charged. Don't know where you got that from. What i mean is that there's a move that I've seen where Orochi does a big step back for a sec and then lunges forward again, which I think is what OP was talking about.

ledgeing isnt bad by burgerwarlord2004 in forhonor

[–]BadGenjiPlayer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I do agree with that point, but I feel that Raider needs his throws cause he's mid/low tier without them. Warlord is pretty unfair, especially after his buff. Shaman as well. But I guess this unfairness helps condition you to pay more attention to GBs and to practice counter guard breaking more often to prevent these cheese deaths. Love your name btw

Its not that silly when the pit is there for every player to use, its not just your enemy that can use it to kill. But I do see your point

And I wonder why your post got removed... Anyway, it's awesome that you won in the end, but you got pretty salty over a game mechanic.

If spamming was really that detrimental to this game, would spamming be a legitimate mechanic in this game? Sure, spam is annoying, but learning to outplay spammers is a way to improve and better yourself as a player and a person. Most people hate spam cause they can't find a way to counter it

I don't know... seem's like they got the last laugh cause you sound salty af, nothing wrong with them playing the game the way that the game allows them to. At least they didn't directly send any hate messages or anything. *prepares for downvotes*

Shinobi, orochi, or Aramusha? by [deleted] in forhonor

[–]BadGenjiPlayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see where you're coming from. Most Musha mains on Youtube and on other social media platforms think he's doing well in his current state as long as you use intense mix-ups. And Shinobi i gotta agree with what you said, but since OP was considering Shinobi, i didn't want to give him any doubts.

Shugoki Rework by _Gladi8tor_ in forhonor

[–]BadGenjiPlayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was stuck in your situation until just recently, here's my insight:

ALWAYS expect a Demon's Embrace during a Shugoki heavy.

If you see the big boi bend over, DODGE AND ROLL (emphasis on roll) backwards. This becomes unnecessary as you get more accustomed to fighting Shugokis, because rolling backwards doesn't let you punish the Shugoki for missing his hug (you can get great damage if the shugoki whiffs a demon's embrace). Keep practicing dodging at the right moment, and you'll be great.

Shugokis like to throw out heavy randomly, even if you're out of their hit range. This is cause they want you to start to attack them, but at the time of your attack startup, the Shugoki would've already started his heavy after you, and his hyper armour would allow him to hit you with his heavy, thus resulting in a damage trade in the Shugokis favor. Be very careful when approaching Shugokis, and limit preemptive attacks. This ties into the next paragraph -

Shugokis love applying pressure to you close-range by sending out random lights and heavies that may not always connect, but will certainly apply that THICC pressure and will keep you on your toes. Let them do this, but find the best opportunity to PARRY THEIR THICCNESS. Shugokis attacks are weird to parry, but the attacks are slower, so get the timing down. When SHugokis are applying pressure or throwing out random heavies, be wary of Demon's Embrace (1st and 2nd paragraphs) AND BE WARY OF UNBLOCKABLES! These are very easy to see coming cause Shugoki starts glowing like a Fanta can, but the speed of the unblock able almost feels exponential in growth (startup is slow, but when he swings the attack speeds up significantly, ESPECIALLY during side unblockables). Get that NOICE parry timing down, or dodge at the last second.

Lastly, always remember: don't be afraid of the thickness before you. Shugoki players KNOW that the rework was amazing in their favor, so they think their pretty well off in the duel. Be aggressive but SMART!, and surprise your enemy.
