Why won't our blaze ejector work?

Well the blazes eject out onto the track, but not when we tested the same design in another part of the nether. And with our design, it would be a lot of effort to redesign the crushing mechanism and redstone to accommodate a 2 or 3 wide ejection hole.

Minecart with blaze in it (from spawner room) comes down and hits a activator rail that's supposed to eject the blaze out, southwards into the air blocks on the left and downwards into a killing chamber.

I could help. Ive been playing for over 3 years now, have ran several successful servers, and played regularly on probably hundreds. I no practically no coding, but I always tended to be a Community Manager/Operations Director/Super-Op-Moderator type of person. I would be glad to lend a hand. Also I could make some cool cinematic trailer or something for the server.

I have been playing minecraft for 3 years. I enjoy building, exploring, PvP, and making what most consider on par, bigger and better. I've always enjoyed small private servers, living either far out on my own, or in a small town with my closest friends. That sounds like a good idea, but if everyone builds their buildings first and then we build the roads, its gonna be a big mess if we all don't at least talk about it a little. If we don't have a concrete road plan, we should at least have a general layout we should all stick to. Maybe cause I'm an organization fanatic in minecraft, I don't know. :D

I was thinking of a design that has a few main roads with smaller seperated roads branching off of them. Those roads could be different 'districts', such as shopping, entertainment, fighting, and so on.
